The Graveyard Book | Neil Gaiman

I just finished doing the #readingsprint hosted by @PuddleJumper. I sprinted from 3:03 AM - 6:08 AM CST which is my time zone. I‘m a night owl. I‘m up all night anyway so I figured that I might as well participate in this sprint and I‘ll also get points. I made a lot of progress in this book. Now, I‘m tired so I‘m going to bed.

Here‘s my review for a book I DNF‘d this afternoon. I read this book for #scarathlon. I‘m counting this book towards the #readingsprint I participated in today and I‘m giving myself points for participating in that but I‘m not doing the word search on this book or counting it as being read because I didn‘t finish it.

Today, I‘m sharing a coloring page I‘ve started this month that is a work in progress. I‘m going to count it as a #spookycraft for #scarathlon. I worked on it during a #readingsprint this afternoon from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm so I read for 2 hours and I‘ve decided that I‘m going to DNF this book. This book isn‘t for me. I‘m not enjoying it. I‘m disappointed about this book but I like how my coloring page looks so far.

Sprint: How to Solve Big Problems and Test New Ideas in Just Five Days | Jake Knapp, John Zeratsky, Braden Kowitz

Hey guys! I thought it would be a great time to test run our first #scarathlon #readingsprint on Listy. 🖤This event will start in 15 minutes and run for 2 hours.

No major rules, just post your final reading time at the end of the sprint, and tag the host using #scarathlonsprint. You do not have to finish the book to qualify for the 2x pts, but if you made progress during a sprint, your Halloween read will go from 25pts to 50pts etc.

Clwojick Please let me know if you have any questions! I‘ve been brainstorming a way to bring reading sprints to Litsy, and this is what I‘ve worked out so far, but we may need to iron some things out! 6mo

LiseWorks I like this idea though. We should try different time slots during the month. I love to read in the morning between 530 am and 7 am or 3 to 430 in the afternoon I know I'm weird 🙃 6mo

Also & I probably missed this somewhere but we can do other teams sprints or just the ones for ours? And how do we find out about them? 6mo

Clwojick @DebinHawaii any sprint hosted by any of the hosts count for the same points! You can check the hashtag #scarathlonsprints but also the team leads will try to tag their team in the post whenever anyone is hosting one. 6mo

Did a power sprint of reading to finish this gem last night. I really loved the whole book, but it definitely felt “unfinished”. This could be a personal problem because I almost never read series, so maybe that writing style just doesn‘t appeal to me? The whole premise of this book and the story telling are so original it‘s completely worth the read. I will be patiently awaiting the next book. #DreadNation #JustinaIreland #RiseUp #ReadingSprint

📖Steamy! What a way to start a reading day lol! That‘s all I‘ve got lol! Steamy 🤯. Didn‘t read as much as I wanted to during my first #readingsprint but got more ☕️ & stuff done, so it all balances out in the end.
