Sigh. There is all.the.reasons. why I keep rereading these 40 some books on repeat over the years. It's simply like spending time with the best of friends in all of their highs and lows. Each time, I connect to something different and it amazes me. Can't wait for our next book club discussion of I Promise (College Years #3). ♥️

Anybody have a least favorite reading format for reading? Ten years ago I loved the idea of being able to read from my phone even if I didn‘t have an ereader on me. Did I once phone read during a bar birthday party? Guilty. Now, it strains my eyes and I kind of hate it and will only do it if no other format is available. Alas, when rereading Queen Bees and Wannabes I could only get it from the library on my phone.

The idea of this book was to examine/expose the troubled teen industry by looking at 3 girls named Elissa, Alyssa, and Alissa, all of whom met at a TT boarding school and all dead by 26. Unfortunately, it falls down, with a lack of story before they all met, not enough examination of these schools and programs and an attempt to make all their deaths link to their life choices, which they don‘t.

I recently finished With Regrets, this author‘s latest release, and stumbled upon this one by her… it intrigued me so I picked it up. It was tough to listen to at times with the way the world is lately but overall I was there for the journey it took me on, also I liked it much more than With Regrets. The fact that it‘s a standalone doesn‘t hurt. The narration by Cassandra Campbell, Joy Osmanski, & Rebecca Lowman was top-notch. I loved it.
