in this book there is a boy named Cameron who is currently living with his mother, they have to keep moving because they are on the run from his dad. They move to a place called Wolf hallow, the house they are at is very creepy and he thinks its haunted. they have neighbor who owns the land that they are staying on but Cameron seems to feel scared of him because he feels off

pick#Read2025 I‘ve been under the impression that Katherine Center is a writer of rom-coms. Of course, I‘ve only read one other book by her and, while it was promoted as a rom-com, it still touched on some very serious topics. This book is not a rom-com. It begins with some sad things, some sad things happen in the middle, and the ending leaves questions about what will happen next. It ends on a hopeful note and I enjoyed this book. Recommended.
No #bookspinbingo for me! December was definitely a rough reading month for me -- if it wasn't an audiobook (not my preferred format), it was hard for me to finish anything! Still, it was a successful year overall, and I'm definitely ready for 2025!
