#currentlyreading Woman Talking by Miriam Toews
This is a great book so far but it is making me angry. When it comes to being raped and attacked you do not ever do nothing even when people don't believe you, ridicules you, shames you being quiet is never an option even if you stand to loose everything.
Just my thoughts so far #feminists #metoo #femalefighters #librarybook #wearestrong

1. Like every essay collection, I liked some more than others. Still, it‘s essential reading for #feminists and people who‘ve been #trolled.
2. Turning back time temporarily / time travel
3. Scorpio
4. Work, gym, laundry, reading, Mindhunter—pretty exciting, right?
5. 👊🏻📚♥️
This gorgeous picture book is a wonderful introduction to the life and work of Gloria Steinem.
I‘m determined to read more feminist nonfiction this summer. Hopefully, I will get to this one soon. Glad to see lesser known historical figures being brought to attention. ❤️
I was just in a library for two hours and did I take a picture?! No!!! What sort of space brained Litten am I?! Now my starving stomach, denied breakfast and I have arrived at The College Club for what promises to be a delicious lunch.
J. Ward Howe appears in the upper left quadrant of the rightmost square in the bottom row.
I‘ve just been told my partner in crime, my other half, my best best friend from high school, Jacquie, has been diagnosed with asbestosis(a horrible lung cancer) and has only a few weeks left. We lost touch after she moved to Queensland with her children, but not a day goes by that I don‘t think about her. The things we got up to as teenagers! This will be my only post tonight, I hope all you wonderful littens put her in your thoughts & prayers💔
Matilda Joslyn Gage, mother-in-law of Oz creator L. Frank Baum, was a #SisterSuffragette. I wonder if that‘s why his books have so many strong female characters? #MusicalNewYear
