Not sure if I'm getting used to Deaver's write style, or if this one was just lacking. But I didn't find it as engaging and suspenseful as the previous three.

It was a pretty decent Crime Fiction, just not what I came to expect from Deaver.

I have to start by saying I LOVE Jesse Vilinsky's narration!
She truly brought the story to life. Would love to get more of her work.

As for the story...
Antsy's is a tough one to tell, but McGuire does it great justice. And as always takes us to a place so wonderfully magical that you wish you could find your door.
I can't wait to see how Antsy will fit into the future of Wayward Children.

Enchanted_Bibliophile @TheSpineView @Andrew65 #SeriesLove2023. Not a completed series ( in fact I hope it never ends), but up to date with the newest publication. 2y
Andrew65 Excellent 👏👏👏 Sometime the worst thing is a when a favourite series ends. Lost a few recently due to the death of some authors. 2y
TheSpineView Oh the wait for the next book! 2y

I wasn‘t sure I was going to like this book in the beginning. The 4 characters introduced in book one were kind of prickly and I wasn‘t sure I wanted to know them better but a little further in and I couldn‘t put it down. And Meena will not be forgotten. Thanks for the awesome recommendation @Amiable #AuldLangSpine @monalyisha #TBRTarot Done @CBee #Pantone #LoveBird @Clwojick

Deblovestoread @amiable I read The Space Between Us years ago but will definitely be reading from her backlist in the future starting with this one already on my shelf 2y

I really enjoyed this cozy. Liz's best friend has a stalker who is leaving tarot cards at her door. Liz is first on the hunt for the stalker and then the stalker's killer.

This was my last catchup review from February I didn‘t get posted earlier this week.

An informative and interesting graphic novel about Cook‘s experience living with Borderline Personality Disorder. I enjoyed the alternating chapters of more graphic content then more text heavy descriptive content. I think that gave the reader more insight into her feelings and experiences than a regular graphic heavy version might have. ⬇️

MeganAnn I loved the bright colors and the art style. Knowing basically nothing about Borderline before going into this, I thought it brought to light the prejudices and the emotions she experiences regularly in a way that was thoughtful and well done. 4⭐️. #pantone2023 #lovebird @Clwojick 2y

I love it when a contemporary doesn't stick to the happily ever after! I've heard that most people loved this book up until the ending. I like it because of the ending.

This was my first go with Picoult, and I quite enjoyed her writing style. Any suggestions on what else of her I could try?

booklover3258 Nineteen Minutes, The Pact and The Tenth Circle are some of my favorites. 2y
Clwojick House Rules & Handle With Care are other 5* of mine with Mercy, Plain Truth and Spark of Light following shortly behind. The last three could definitely have trigger warnings though, so just look into it ahead of time if that could be an issue for you. She has a great way of bringing light to tough topics. I also second Nineteen Minutes, and The Pact being great reads. 2y
Enchanted_Bibliophile Thanks @booklover3258 & @Clwojick I'll add these books to my TBR. 2y
