AmiableUgh! I had rotator-cuff surgery about 10 years ago. Do you have a recliner? That was the most comfortable place to sleep for the first 8 weeks afterwards.5mo

JenlovesJT47Ugh I‘m sorry! I have labral tears in both shoulders (and possibly my hip I dislocated 😣) so I know it‘s rough. Wishing you a successful surgery with many excellent books to keep you company afterwards. Dunno what I would have done all these years if I hadn‘t been working at an ortho doctors‘ office since I was 13 😆 (my mom works there still!!).5mo

JenlovesJT47@dabbe thanks for asking! A dislocation didn‘t show on x-rays so I had to get an MRI. Seeing the doc next week. He thinks I might have a labral tear in my hip. That would be my luck for sure! Crutches kill me so I‘ve altered my gait & walk on my tiptoes on that side. Not fun. Sorry, that was probably more information than you were looking for! 😅5mo
AmiableAnd ask the surgeon when you can start PT —as soon as possible to avoid frozen shoulder if you can. Ask about passive PT where the therapist moves your slack arm around for you.5mo

kspenmollOh no, I am so sorry! I have shoulder surgery that entailed more than rotator cuff, & I was “older so recovery longer” ( plus it was on right side; I am right handed) but now I am so much better! Cleaned up arthritis, bone in bone while in there as well. You can do it!5mo
