Congratulations @dabbe#dabberocks #litsylegend 👏I‘ve only been on Litsy a couple of months, but you‘ve been so welcoming, I feel like I know you! 💛💛💛
My mood board is all about my guys, whom I‘m missing. They live in the Midwest and I‘ve not seen them since last June. They are each other‘s best friend and I love the closeness we all share despite the distance. (Grateful for Skype).
#moodboardcontest / #mbc

dabbe You are too sweet! I feel the same way about you! And your guys are adorable and handsome, and they look like a heckuva lot of fun to be with! You should share this board with them + what you wrote, and I thank you for sharing yourself. 🩵💙🩵 7d
Lesliereadsalot Wonderful pictures! What game are they playing? My kids are game players too. 7d
BooksandCoffee4Me @Lesliereadsalot We were learning Takenoko https://funboardgames.org/2013/09/feed-the-panda-takenoko/ We always have at least one family board game night when they visit — so much laughter 😆 6d

Just delightful banter and then suddenly a pithy saying or poignant comment. I‘m not sure I can tell you what the series is “about.” It‘s more just enjoying the dialogue, in peeling back the layers of Emma and Pierce, and even Islington. It‘s reading the last sentence on the page, eagerly turning that page anticipating the next sentence only to find it‘s done; that volume is done. So on to volume 4 tomorrow.

Asking: does anyone else feel like this is an Austin novel stretched out over multiple volumes? I enjoy it but I‘m ready to move faster and have so many more books I want to read. Do I continue this reading investment? Has anyone read all of the volumes?

monalyisha I got excited just seeing the book cover, which should tell you everything you need to know. I‘ve read them all and I love them wholeheartedly. Book 6 is my favorite so far. But…only you can decide if they‘re right for you! If you‘re not charmed now, you may never be. 2w
dabbe And I'm here to say #hailthebail! If a book doesn't grab you, that's nobody's fault--neither the author nor the reader. Not all books click with everybody. Plus, life's too short, and there are #betterbooksahead! 🙌🏻 2w

“I have found that the practice of breath prayers allows me to take little sabbath moments during the day.”

Here is a book of breath prayers, sabbath moments. The author has written 4-line breath prayers for each Psalm, focusing heart and mind on the psalmist‘s themes and God‘s character.
