A small town mystery solved by the dispatcher at the local sheriff's office.
This was fine, but I'm not interested in continuing the series.

Husband and I canned some honey yesterday 🐝 🍯 💛

A sweet and spicy cowboy romance 🤠 👢
Emmy and Luke have known each other all their lives, but when she returns home after an accident, they see each other in a new light.
I'll definitely be reading the next book in the series!
Bear is about sisterhood, finding one's own way, and a little bit of mysticism.
Makes you think. I enjoyed it 😊

I really do have good reader friends who think of me when they're at Dollar Tree 😁

Three different names, three different outcomes.
This is a story about "what ifs" in the same vein as the movie Sliding Doors.
I liked it ?

I picked this up expecting to learn some fun facts about Moon and her unique family.
I had NO IDEA about the big rift regarding Frank's estate.
This audiobook is full of love, hope, disappointment, and healing.
Moon's narration is emotional and well-done.

This is going to be fun!
A ghost writer and a ghostly editor form an unlikely relationship in this book about grief and hope.
I love it when my Romance Book Club picks something different from the norm 🙂
**This overgrown cemetery is not far from my house 🪦
Sex, drugs, and rock and roll, baby!
VERY heavy on the drugs.
I met Anthony back in the 90s, but, alas, our brief encounter was not mentioned in the book 😂
I work weekends, so I wasn't able to make it out for Independent Bookstore Day, but I'd say I made up for it today 😁 📚
I enjoyed the ride but felt a little bamboozled by the ending.
A teenage girl dies while on vacation with her family.
Her younger sister is haunted by this and runs into one of the suspects years later. Will she get to the bottom of what really happened?
Melanie Shankle was in my sister's neck of the woods, so she got her latest book signed for me 🥰
I found a four-leaf clover pressed in an old book at an estate sale today 😃😊 🍀 ☘️
Book 2 in the Skyland series, and I loved it!
This is Soledad's story.
Aren't these covers just the prettiest?
Bennet and Henry are just the cutest 🥰
There are lots of bumps in the road in this romance. Bennet is suffering from grief, while Henry does his best to help her find her passion and be patient with her while she grapples.
Of course, a happily ever after is eventually reached.
💔
The narration was great.
What a unique, sad life.
Stories from Handler's life - some funny, some not so much. And lots of stories about books and the readers who love them.
I just loved this book ❤️
Last October, I was lucky enough to get a signed edition from Powell's along with a swag bag.
I didn't realize this was as "self-help" as it is.
I keep up with the Duggars like I keep up with the Kardashians ? in that I want to know what's going on in the families.
That being said, I found a couple nuggets of wisdom.
This memoir is about Allison's life since losing her husband "Twitch" to suicide.
A hard topic for sure, but I admire her willingness to share things from her perspective.
For the most part, I enjoyed this memoir.
Ione was unlikeable at times, but she grew into herself and found her happily ever after.
I loved the photos!
I thought this book was going to make me clutch my pearls, but I quite enjoyed it 😁🥵🖤🌶🌶🌶🌶
More than the title suggests. I loved the witty banter, the mysterious element, the kickass heroine.
This is part of a series that I just might continue.
An ugly story about writing, publishing, opportunism, ambition, racism, cancel culture, etc.
Despite the tough topics, I thought this was very well-done.
Bravo!
Folio Society did an edition of my all-time favorite book, The Book Thief.
I HAD to have it. It's gorgeous 😍
I don't particularly like fantasy OR dark romance, but this wasn't bad.
Phantasma was the only Book of the Year choice from BOTM that I hadn't read, so here we are!
**Husband took the photo. I just can't with snakes 🐍
Fantastic!
My co-worker left this in my cubby at work, and I didn't really think I wanted it...I was wrong.
This was so good, uplifting, and delightful!
I chose this audiobook on a whim, knowing almost nothing about Selma Blair.
Now I know I really like her!
What a great book!
Very atmospheric.
Towards the end, I was flipping pages as quickly as I could while mysteries were being revealed and questions were being answered.
Dollar Tree was on 🔥 today!
Whenever I decide to read a Lucinda Berry book, I know that I am in for a suspenseful, twisty ride. Under Her Care was no exception!
I should be better at guessing the twist by now, but I was once again surprised 😄
I really enjoyed this book about a good girl/bad boy and how history affects our relationships.
My favorite Maisey Yates book so far!
Eve finds herself pregnant after a one night stand.
What happens after is the start of a slow-burn romance - not with the baby daddy, but with a man she has been friends with since childhood.
The audiobook was narrated fantastically!
Another good historical romance that I read for Romance Book Club.
What I like about historical romance is that the women have very few choices but somehow find a way to work around the constraints placed on them by society.
This is nothing short of a masterpiece.
Drop what you're doing and read this book.
Trust me.
"Does a story's ending excuse its beginning?"
If it's wrong for a 17 year old girl to sleep with her 47 year old art teacher, does it make it any better that they marry and stay married for decades until he dies??
This memoir was thought-provoking and well done.
Oh my gosh, you guys!
This was good!
It's the story of a marriage rocked by loss, depression and grief. But the couple never stopped loving each other.
Their journey back to each other after divorce is told realistically and with great empathy.
The spice in this one is spicy 🔥
