Ending the year with 82 books read…I lowered my goal to 75 this year with the intent of reading longer books. My average page count per book went up to 407, so I‘m proud of that!
Looking forward to a great 2025!

Holy Crap on a Cracker!!! I read 183 books in 2023. Thanks to all my Litsy friends. I started reading 3 books at a time. An Audiobook, a Physical book, and a Kindle Book!! It was a game changer and I only did it bc most of you do it!
#yearend #listyrocks
With this last monthly report, my total for the year was 119 books 📚 😃
This was my first year keeping track, and I have to admit, it was pretty fun 😁
Quite happy with this stellar year! (And what did I do before the storygraph!) Nothing I‘d change, but looking ahead to 2023…I really enjoyed diving deep into Jennifer Egan, Elizabeth Strout, and Maggie O‘Farrell, and I‘d like to do that with more authors this year. (And some BIPOC and queer ones!) I‘d also like to read more genre fiction and science/nature writing in 2023. (The genres listed above are ones I read 10+ books in.)
2022 #wrapup
Happy New Year!!🎆 It‘s after midnight here.
This was just not my year for challenges, except for total books read, which I increased over the year. I‘m okay with that.
I‘m wishing all of you a wonderful 2023 full of contentment, good health, and prosperity. 💗
Not bad - but way short of my goal of 90! Since life has gotten busier from the COVID years less time to read so think I will make next years goal 75. This was the first time since 2015 I didn‘t meet my goal 😞
But onward to 2023 and lots more books and maybe sticking with all my challenges I signed up for and not dropping out by March lol!
Well, I exceeded my goal of 85 books by 11. Next year I am aiming for 100. Don't really care if I hit it or not, I just like seeing how many I read a year.

My Year in Books 📚📚📚
90 Books [📚26,338 pages & 🎧177 Audio Hours] btw I love how you can track pages and hours separately on StoryGraph.
My original goal was 50 books, then I updated it to 72 when I started listening to more audiobooks... And I've surprised myself by finishing 18 more.
All-in-all a brilliant reading year. 🎉
2021 was a difficult one ...
Work was crazy and some months I got very little reading time. Nevertheless I still managed to read 80 books surpassing my goal of 50
I'm hoping 2022 will allow me more time to read, but I'm again setting my goal for 50 books
I always feel better surpassing it than not reaching it.
Here are my best #12Booksof2021 but they are not by month. The first 12 books were my favorites but I read 133 books so included other books that I really loved this year. But those books that were part of a duology or series, I counted them as one😜 I can say that it was a good reading year, I enjoyed most of the books I read📚📚📚🤗
@Andrew65
Yay for me! I exceeded my goal of 40 books for 2021, though not surprising since… you know… Covid and all…. Edit: my daughters guilted me into reading 1 more so I‘d have 52, 1 book read for each week… so I spent the day reading… now I‘m at 52 🙄🤩😵💫
1 Graduation with Masters in Clinical Mental Health, and finally dx with answers to a lifetime of injuries.
2. Honestly I had more 5 star reads than ever.
3. Health, peace and progressive policies #blm #climatechangeisreal #nohumanisilligal
Thanks for the tag @BookwormAHN @ElizaMarie
I know it‘s Thursday- but anyone else want to play?
Wow! Never expected to read 95 books in a year! So excited to set new challenges for 2021...thank you for all the book inspiration, Littens!
My 2019 year in books!
Overall I had a pretty good reading year filled with plenty of wonderful books! My longest book is a little skewed since Winter Nights was a 10 ebook boxed set. I think my actual longest was probably The Priory of the Orange Tree at 827 pages.
Looking forward to a new year of new reads! Happy New Year to all my lovely Litsy friends! 🎉🎆✨ Wishing you all a year filled with joy, great books, and a little magic! ✨📚😘
I also wanted to share this because this makes me super proud of myself! I more than doubled my goal for myself! I am super excited for 2020 and all the wonderful books waiting for me to read them. I am working on setting my goals for next year and have already signed up for a few challenges to kick off the year!! I want to thank all of you for suggesting so many wonderful books, and making my TBR list so much longer!!
#WinterGames #MerryReaders
This my rather ambitious stack of books I am hoping to read before 2020. I started the top one yesterday. The second one down is for book club in January. THE NAMESAKE and SING UNBURIED SING are for the Reading Women advances prompts. And Habibi is a graphic novel I‘ve been lusting for since 2015 and just got for Christmas. Getting some breakfast with the hubs and then diving in. Wish me luck! #wintergames #teamfozziwig
#WinterGames Team #ReadNosedReindeer Can you believe it‘s almost 2020!? Are there any books you‘d love to get finished before New Year‘s? Let us know!
Well, with 13 minutes left in the year, I think I have to call it. This is amazing and I can‘t even believe I finished so many books!! My original goal at the beginning of the year was 52...I know being a part of Litsy is a HUGE reason why I more than doubled my goal!! Now to decide what my 2019 goal will be...😁📚
Faves:To Kill a Mockingbird/Anne of Green Gables/The Wait/Devil in the White City/Quiet Girl in a Noisy World/Circe/The Alienist/Children of Blood & Bone/Anne of the Island&Avonlea/Illuminae/Gemina/Obsidio/Jurassic Park/Winter of the Witch/Girl in the Tower/Hidden Figures/Kill the Farm Boy/Nevermoor/Wundersmith/The Lie Tree/Willa of the Wood/Aru Shah/The Night Gardener/Mirage/The Queen‘s Rising/The Strange Case of the Alchemist‘s Daughter/The Call
I think I'm ready to call it for the year. Again, my disclaimer here is my numbers are so high because I read a lot of comics and don't work, so don't compare my reading number to yours! You did great!!!!! I'm proud of all you guys!!!
So happy almost new year everyone, I am looking forward to moving on from 2018 😅 can't wait for a new year of queer books, queer writers, and works by authors & artists of color. Much love 💛💛💛
#2018WrapUp #18in2018 @vkois88 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
I read a total of 77 books this year. This is the most books have ever read in a year! Really proud and had so much fun. It was a tough and busy year but reading is my escape!! The pic is my fav 18 of the year!
With maybe one more book in the works! It's small in comparison but it's a huge win for me. Completed 3 books swaps #fallingforfallswap #stuffedstockingswap and a personal #disneyswap. Currently participating in the #lmpbc with 3 books to go! Yay for 2018! 🎉🎉🎉
Not too shabby 2017! I didn‘t finish ALL the challenges I set out to do but there‘s always 2018 #2017readingstats
I definitely surpassed all of my personal reading goals this year! Litsy has not only been a wonderful community to be a part of in general, but it‘s also really encouraged me to read more! I think this is the most books I‘ve ever read in a single year, and I just want to thank YOU ALL for being supportive book friends! I love you guys! ❤️💗❤️💗❤️ Happy New Year, everyone! 😘💋🎉🍾🥂🎆

In September it felt like I wouldn't complete any of my reading goals for 2017. I don't know what I did to kick things into gear but something worked. I surpassed my #Goodreads goal, & completed #2017ReadHarderChallenge , #2017LitsyAtoZ , #2017LRC + a few others that I could knock out with crossovers from these 4. Color me shocked!!
81 books read; 50 books was my goal. This is also the most books I've read in a year since I started counting (or goodreads started counting for me.)
Without this community of serious readers I would never have signed up for 3 reading challenges and finished them all! I'll always mark 2017 as the year I started paying better attention to what I was reading and hopefully making better reading choices.
Thank you, Littens!! 😊💜
I scrolled back for a ridiculous number of minutes to find my 2017 reading resolutions (if there is a quicker way to go back to your own posts, I sure don‘t know it 😳), and it looks like a mixed bag for me.
I read 13 of the BBC 100 books this year, will end up with 6 challenges finished, continued/finished 6 series, started, finished, and loved The Dark Tower. But...
I wrote 0 GR reviews 🤷🏻♀️
Used the library, but I bought sooooo many. 😳
It is the end of the year, and I do not believe I will finish any more books today. I have participated in some challenges and experienced success with some and fallen short in others. I enjoy the challenges and my #24HRR group, as they enable me to step out of my comfort zone in my reading. I wish everyone in the world of Litsy happy reading in the new year.
Been seeing a lot of this around today and it made me think. Here's my #17in2017 I actually forgot about a couple of these!!! I put the whole HP collection in there since I read them for the first time this year and just couldn't pick! I've been saying that Final Girls has been my top pick but I think Spoiler Alert is tied for first! Looking forward to next year's reads already!! #bestof2017
Aaaaaaahhh! I‘ve broken my library account with my requests from all the end of year lists!!! Must. Add. Books.
