I‘ve got tea and a hot pocket and 7 hours of sleep under my belt. And a book of course! Back to reading! #reversereadathon

Enjoyed some reading time outside. Lovely day! #readathon
Loved this one!! The magic is so wonderful and the setting just adds to it so well. A great diverse fantasy read! First book down for #readathon!
Some of my favorite books by black authors for Day 7 of #riotgrams. (Though I'll admit I haven't actually read Swing Time yet...)
Day 6 of #riotgrams: #shortstory. Reposted from Instagram.
I got this one from the library and really enjoyed it!! It was funny and sad and I loved all the literary references. Great illustrations as well!
Naked hardcovers for Day 3 of #riotgrams. The first 2 don't have dust jackets & the last 2 are just gorgeous. Cross posted on Instagram.
Poor girls. The world fattens them on the promise of love. How badly they need it, and how little most of them will ever get...Then the dreams are taken away with such violent force; the hand wrenching the buttons of the jeans, nobody looking at the man shouting at his girlfriend on the bus.
@thereadingwomen my kitty cat with my fantasy/sci fi books by women. #thereadingwomen #readathon
"Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends." #LOTRChapterADay
Help!! I fell behind on #LOTRChapteraDay!! Can anyone tell me what chapter today is?
Really loving this one more than I thought I would. It's like a steampunk action movie. #24in48
The Hate U Give, Hunger (on an) American Street, Listen to Me. #bookspinepoetry #24in48
"It seemed Doctor Who fandom always carried the whiff of Old Boys Club and in the hierarchy of Who, the girl fans hovered near the bottom. Is this perception correct? It depends on who you talk to and where they fell in that hierarchy...Perception is a tricky thing, but in terms of fandom power, influence, and control, it was primarily a man's world." Hmmm.
So happy to see Gollum make an appearance! #Chapter5 #LOTRChapteraDay
I'm not as big of a fan of Jack of Fables as I am of Fables, but I could read a whole book of mini -Babe the Blue Ox's hallucinations. #24in48
Caught a picture of my current reading buddy, trying to sleep. ;) #24in48 #caturday #catsoflitsy
After some hyped #audiocleaning, finally starting some print reading for #24in48. Also a read for #diversitybingo2017.
Here's my shelfie for #24in48...it's getting a wee bit full...
Got a little behind on #LOTRChapterADay, so I'm using #24in48 to get caught up!
Ready to go for #24in48 with my Kindle and my bookwear! Going to finish this read up first! Good luck to all!!
Excited to join in on#LOTRChapteraDay starting tomorrow. I've read the trilogy but never the Hobbit or the Silmarillion. Looking forward to reading it with others and thinking a chapter a day won't be too hard!
"Reading is untidy, discursive, and perpetually inviting." Loving this gem of a book!
Seems an apt book/bookmark pairing. #readathon #bookmarks #grishatrilogy
Loving this comic! It's funny and smart and features a twitter feed recap. So geeky. I'm in love. #readathon
It's going to take awhile to finish my first pick, but I'm doing it!! I'm so glad I'm re-reading before the show premieres tomorrow! #readathon
"Love and loss," he said, "are like a ship and the sea. They rise together. The more we love, the more we have to lose. But the only way to avoid loss is to avoid love. And what a sad world that would be."
Speaking of the release event with the author...check out the fun cutouts of the main characters! When I Litsyfied, Alucard and Rhy got cut off :( but they're pretty I assure you.
I have tea. I went to the release event with the author. I'm 60 pages in and already have the feels. I think I'm ready. For the end. Maybe.
My #bookofthemonth box came! This week has been stressful. The forecast is rainy on Saturday. Planning on getting some work done, some games played, and lots read! #twomoredays
Really enjoying this fantasy! #ownvoices #diverseathon #24in48
Breakfast and audiobook before the march today! Big Magic is so good so far! #24in48
I love this!! I'm not sure I'll be able to participate the whole night (that is my 1 social night a week), but I'll try! #nopartylikeabookwormparty #litsypartyofone #callingallintroverts
My options for #24in48. I tend to go with the flow. I won't finish all of them! In graphic novels I have Scott Pilgrim, Princeless, I Hate Fairyland, Ms. Marvel, and Buffy season 8. In books: The Grownup, Speaking Treason Fluently, Listen to Me, Vicious, ACOTAR, The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms, Here We Are, Replica, This Savage Song, You Will Know Me, Whatever Happened to Interracial Love?, The Sun is Also a Star, Girls in the Moon, and Swing Time.
Book mail is the best mail, especially when there's a free one! #botm
Great start to my #LitsyAtoZ challenge (title that starts with N)! I love Neil Gaiman and Neverwhere was wonderfully fantastical and semi-realistic all at once. I really enjoyed the world and the characters, and I would love to read even more adventures. Really fun!
I loved this book. Lada is such a complex character and the writing conveys her so wonderfully. I also loved how we got to see things from her brother's perspective, and the interesting and complicated web of relationships that results from their friendship with Mehmed. Can't wait to read the next one!!
Totally just made myself a spreadsheet to track my reading habits in the new year. Thanks to @Amanda and @bookriot for the idea!
A retelling of the origins of Marian and Robin Hood, this is an engaging novella for sure. Marian is a strong and independent character, and I really loved the story about her meeting and falling in love with Robin, who is a female in this version. Catching hints of other characters who will eventually be important was also nice. Some trigger warnings for sexual assault. Really hoping this is the start of a series!
