So this isn‘t my favorite story but it wasn‘t too bad. I feel like it‘s a lot of the same in romance. (Two people who don‘t like each other, stick, sexual tension, misunderstandings). It was super quick listen though.

Sweet, a little spicy, warm and fuzzy. A little better than the last Shalvis novella I finished. I enjoyed the whole storyline being told in one night, Christmas Eve.

Part two of my #bookhaul. I‘m really enjoying the Jill Shalvis book I picked up at Target last week so I figured I‘d get some more. The tagged is just a novella, but I‘ll take it. I‘ll probably end up getting more of hers since I realize that the one I‘m reading is I think the third in the series.

Max and his Doberman, Carl are headed home on Christmas Eve, picking up Rory Gallagher at the last minute. They are both reluctant to admit their attraction for each other owing to a past incident in high school... Why didn't Jill Shalvis develop this into a full story? The outline for a great story is there, but I was left feeling unsatisfied, wanting more of everything, including a longer timeline (A lot happens in less than 12 hours!)

Great novella, but I am DYING that it is not full-length. These two have a past history that I super-want to read. Max and Rory both work with two of the core group of characters in the Heartbreaker Bay Series. I'd love more out of these two.

This is a "stuck in the snow together" story. I love them every. single. time. Also, I love the dog! #romantsy

(Only 99 cents in USD. Totally worth it, but the story is only ~60% of the length.)

I got this on a whim on my Kindle and I am so glad that I did. It is such a fun story. I loved the characters, their interactions, and what they learned on this crazy Christmas road trip. And there is a dog! Seriously, if you like modern romance and want something short, just give this a try. I will probably be checking out other books by this author, that is how much I loved this.

My last Christmas romance of the season. Seriously, could not get through the madness of the holidays without light, fluffy books like this!

This is a wonderfully developed novella. Set in the Sierra's on Christmas Eve, two people with small town history fall in love. Family drama, a dog, a semi rushed ending. Overall a great holiday romance.
On Kindle it ends at 58%.

It was short, sweet and straight to the point. It was all sexy angst and sweet moments. I adored it and if you give Jill Shalvis's Heartbreaker Bay series a chance I'm pretty sure you'll adore it as well !
