How did I miss that this was our last #cbbc ?! I‘m so sad! This is my favorite thing. So wonderful to read all your notes! @Mommamanzi we‘ll give you December off to breathe ;) #coffeebeanbookclub also @ElizaMarie the package was lovely and the use of medical tape made me chuckle.

So… it was a fast mostly fun cute cozy…. But “so-so” because it just had 2 other story lines that didn‘t really develop or needed to be there. More 👻would have been better. #CBBC

A fun cozy set in a haunted inn… was it my favorite? No… but I am glad I read it!! #cbbc

it was ok- but not a favorite. I loved the idea of A haunted inn, but felt like the stories were all sort of shallow (yes , i know it‘s a cozy) I wanted more ghost- and the second murder was so sad- i have complicated feelings around the dog story line. Will be in mail by Friday @Mommamanzi

Melanie and her grandmother, Lizza are renovating a old home to create a B&B when they find a body behind a secret door in the wall. This was a decent beginning to this cozy mystery series.

I read this book at the beginning of April after a couple of serious hard emotional books. So, it was a fun and relax reading time. Melanie decided to buy and restore an old house with her grandmother Liza to open a B&B. But the house is “haunted”? They discovered a skeleton which is related with an incident in that house. Liza decided to “investigate” the incident in order to accelerate the opening of their B&B. Such a funny character⬇️

This was just ok. Grandma wasn‘t as quirky as I expected and the ghost played a minimal role.

Loving how many great audiobooks are available through Audible Plus, Libby and Scribd 🧡

Cute cozy. Liked the relationship between Melanie and her grandmother Liza. Good start to a series, especially if you like cozies and ghosts. Will definitely try the next book.

Two books with #Merry in the title from my #TBR stack, one Christmasy, one not.

The tagged book is “A Merry Ghost Inn Mystery” and “Something About Merry” is not in the Litsy database yet, despite my attempts to add it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I may or may not get it listened to this month.

I read a cozy by this author several years ago, but my library doesn‘t have that series. So, I tried a new one by the author. A woman moves with her grandmother to a small town in Oregon to renovate & open a B&B. A skeleton is found & they start trying to solve mystery. A few too many repetitions about how they can‘t open w/ investigation going on & not hard to guess the murderer. Will prob still read the next one. #scarathlon @Clwojick 16 pts
