I was thinking about one of my really good friend this morning @Roary47 who just went back in the classroom yesterday for the new year. And it reminded me how much time teachers put in, and the risk teachers take, and all the compassion teachers have for their students. So I just wanted to show some love for all the teachers out there who showed up all year long, YOU ALL ROCK!

Question for the #TeachersofLitsy: Would any of you be interested in a group where we can all communicate about curriculum, share professional development resources, offer encouragement during the rough days, etc.?

I know we all may teach diff. subjects/grade levels, but it‘s always nice to have some support & fresh ideas from fellow educators!

My husband is truly an incredible educator and you've never had a teacher like him! One thing I pride myself on is my approachability as a teacher and the close relationships I develop with students that lasts well beyond graduation. Thank you so much, @AndreaReads !! I‘m starting the school year with a bang now! What wonderful gifts! I absolutely love the letters—I‘m already planning where to put them in my classroom. You can‘t really tell from the picture, but the heart on the tote-bag is sparkly! ❤️ The mug says “Don‘t make me use my teacher voice!” It‘s so cute!! Thanks for contributing to my class library (I read from there too)! It‘s all lovely and very thoughtful!

I opened my package from @Johanna414 to find so many goodies it was hard to get them in the picture. The mouse pad says, “I need a day between Saturday and Sunday” which is so true. Tons of stationary and notes, I love it! Gorgeous washi and bookmarks too. The lotion is eucalyptus and tea and smells divine. I can‘t wait to read the books and add them to my classroom shelves. I came home from a fun weekend of camping with family to a wonderful #teachercarepackageswap! Thanks so much to @Mrs_Black for the books and other goodies. These books will be a great addition to my class library, the t-shirt is fantastic, I can never keep enough Expo markers, this tea always makes me smile, and the bookmark is beautiful! #tcps

Oh my, what an awesome start to my Labor Day!! Thank you SO much @APLitlife for my #teachercarepackageswap box!! I love everything.
