I listened to the tagged book while I was listening to Pet Sematary. I needed to have a lighter, cozier read. This book did the trick and helped me complete my #OutstandingOctober goals over the weekend.

Feeling a little cozy this morning, so I thought I'd feature one of my favorite cozy authors, Heather Blake.

The narration on this was painful. The vocalist does a lot of strange things with her words that i find distracting. I‘ve only been able to listen to her read one other story, which was much better written. This story felt young and juvenile in concept or telling.

A fun, cute cozy mystery. I enjoyed the mystery, the characters, the slight romance (more crushes than any actual romanic scenes), the enchanted village. I will definitely pick up the next book in this series sooner rather than later!

I started this one on Friday but haven't had a chance to post a picture. I'm about halfway through. It's a really cute, fun cozy mystery.

After reading Ms. Blake's Magic Potion series, I was hesitant to start this series. But the things I didn't like about the Magic Potion series were not issues here. A little mystery, a little light romance, and it was an overall fun read. I liked it enough that I'll definitely read the next few. Full review on GR:

Just started this new series. Cute, delightful mystery series!

I stayed up waaaay to long to finish this. But again, I had to know who was the murderer.
This cozy mystery with a sprinkle of magic could make the sub plot of aquiring a wombat pinata as interesting as the solving of the crime.
Need more!

Before bed I decided to start the last one of the books I picked (with your help, littens!) for Halloween.
My bed looks seasonally appropriate, too. And it is super warm and cozy 😊
