Cute and heartwarming…. This fictionalized version of Alexander Hamilton and Eliza Schuyler was everything I wanted it to be!!

Delightful! I really enjoyed this fictionalized YA version of Alexander Hamilton and when he met and married his beloved Eliza. The historical bits were a great addition and the writing (and narration, I listened on #audio) was lovely. A relaxing and enjoyable read! #20in4 #Bookspinbingo @TheAromaofBooks @Andrew65
I love this book so much!!!!! I got it for my birthday the year it came out. It is a sweet story about Alexander and Elizabeth Hamilton. I can't wait to read the other books now!!! I rated this book a 4 out of 5 stars!!! I read this book for the #MarvellousMarchReadathon @Andrew65
Did they really put bacon grease in their hair? Wouldn't their pets go crazy around them if they did?

Kids are home from school... so now it's time to curl up for the night. Going to be reading some of this and at least Easy Bake Coven, not sure if I wanna do any Princess Diaries since I'm the farthest in that. It's so weird trying to juggle 3 different books. Also gunna try to do some purple press-on nails (Lucian wanted me to have longer nails).

5/5 for the first in this trilogy! I loved this so much. I do not read much historical fiction but I enjoy it. I was hooked immediately to the story and loved Eliza and her sisters from the start. I was wrapped up in the romance between Alex and Eliza. I cannot wait to read the next book.
The book was entertaining, easy to read most of the time but when it comes to the historical part of it it's characters seamed to modern for me. The plot had many clichés too, and I didn't like much the climax. The author tells many things instead of showing them to you. Still a an enjoyable read if you feel like reading something easy. More ficción than reality.
I really enjoyed this book as a whole. I'm doing a reread of the trilogy and this book was 5 stars.
I read this for Reading Rivalry as their buddy read. It is a tale of how Alexander Hamilton met his wife. It was pretty entertaining for a historical romance.
#LitsyLoveSpringSwap Opening Day. I was having a hard time sleeping so I opened my package and it was beautiful and delightful.! Thank you so much @Born.A.Reader
I‘m posting one book per day from my ever-increasing TBR. No description. No explanation. Just books to read. Join the fun if you want.
Day 20.

This is a rollover from September. I think it‘s hard to read this if you‘ve watched the musical or was the biography. It‘s fiction on how Eliza and Hamilton met and married. It just didn‘t do a thing for me. I skimmed the last few chapters.
It‘s done though and I can pass this along to someone else. 😁 #bookspinbingo
While it‘s not 100% historically accurate, it‘s a great read for any Hamilton fan. Loved the expression of emotions and the good plot pacing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun romance
Rated so-so, simply because the Jane Austen style of it bored me to tears and I found myself skimming a lot. Nothing against Jane Austen, I just could never get into her books, despite trying many times. It was well written, and I love “Hamilton”, just not the book for me.
Rating: 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Wish I could rate it 10 stars!!!)
Review:
Such a lovely love story about Alexander Hamilton and his love interest Elizabeth Sculyer in 1777-1780 Albany NY and Morristown NJ.
I loved the Jane Austen storyline feel to it!!
Can't wait to read Books 2 and 3!!
Starting Book 8 of August and Book 117 of 2020!!!
Hi all! I'm doing a sfs session om instagram with some other amazing bookstagranmers! Go join if you'd like!
Sweaty as heck out there today but my audio book and Disney music help.
Often late to a party, I watched Hamilton on Disney + last night, down the wiki rabbit hole I went so I could follow everything. I cant focus on the 800+ page biography the play was based on just now, so went for historical fiction instead, started it and got a 5k in this hot morning.
The story of Alexander Hamilton and Elisabeth Schauyler is one I was not familiar with before this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey. I didn't know Alex came from the Caribbean and had no family in America. He found that with Eliza. Their story is so sweet.
I adored this book because it gave so much justice to the amazing woman who was Eliza Schuyler. A woman who stood strong for justice, equality, and freedom. A powerful force of nature who took America, it‘s soldiers, and one Alexander Hamilton by storm. Truly was such a fascinating look into their story, and the roles they played to support and love each other! Can not wait to start the next one!
I really enjoyed this book! I had previous knowledge of this story after watching Hamilton, but I loved seeing it through another person's interpretation. It does make me wonder how many creative liberties were taken in reference to real life events. The book does foster the desire to seek out those sort of answers, but I cant help but wonder how much misinformation is spread! Regardless, it was a cute and interesting story. #UCFSSEALEXANDELIZA
Something about his book was very interesting. I don't know if it was knowing about the characters previous but it was interesting to read about a love story of the Famous Alexander Hamilton and how he met his wife Eliza and the long journey of when they first meet all the way to the days leading to their wedding. I am so hooked on the book and can't get enough now and need to know what else happen in this story. #ucfssealexandeliza
I am currently reading this book and I am personally not that great at history, but the book does a really great job at putting the accounts into details that are easy to understand. What I like most is that you do not necessarily have to remember each historical event from the “textbook“. So far I am really liking this book and the Eliza is easy to relate to which is helpful. #UCFSSEALEXANDELIZA
I absolutely loved this book. I had been a fan of Hamilton for a few years, but this book was so much more. I found it romantic and suspenseful, but it still had a certain spunk to it. It wasn‘t boring to read as I feared it would be. I actually read half the book in one sitting because I couldn‘t get myself to put it down. Overall a great book that I highly suggest to anyone who loves a history driven romance. 10/10. #ucfssealexandeliza
This book was everything that it promised and more. Not once did it lull for me and I found myself wanting to read it more that sleeping!

I like the story the history factor of it was not research but over all a good book
Do not read this book there were maybe 5 chapters with the actual relationship out of 38. There was way too much filler majority of chapters where unnecessary to the story line. I wanted a story about the actual love story and even though i know there isn‘t a lot we know about it i didn‘t appreciate the arranged marriage/sexual assault storyline at the end of the book. Instead of making the relationship seem genuine it felt rushed and superficial
Im fifty pages away from finishing this book i refuse to bail on it but its bothering me so much. Because so much of the book is fiction i don‘t feel like i know anything more about them than i did from Hamilton. Obviously you‘re writing a historical fiction novel and need fiction but you also need some truths to be true to history. I had high hopes for this but they didn‘t meet reality.
So i‘m on page 161 of 355 and even though as i read i feel like im reading a huge chunk i never seem to make much of a dent in my reading sessions. Im enjoying the book it‘s really immersive for me especially as a fan of Hamilton and American history but it feels like it‘ll never end
Read this last September and didn‘t post the review.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Do you fall in love with the story or writing? .
I find myself falling in love with the writing over the story. Reading Alex and Eliza made me realize thjs. Don‘t get me wrong, I do like the story line, but I love the writing and can not put this baby down!
.
It has been on my tbr for a long time because I loved the authors other books. I finally picked this up when we went to @bookcon. So glad I did!
I started this audio book on my way into work this morning. I will be listening to it at lunch as well.
I'm sorry I know I'm I. The majority but this book bored the crap out of me I can not belive I did not bail. I love the author but this one fail flat for me.
Just finished reading this book about Alexander Hamilton and Elizabeth Schuyler. Fairly decent book with a few plot twists for a Hamilton fan. Overall an easy, simple read.
Many historical references with a true love story and believable embellishments! Narrative divided evenly between Alex and Eliza but still staying in third POV, so the story never got interrupted even with their perspectives on events that happened. Being engaged myself, I happily got swept away in the love story... Especially since this was my second time reading!
Listening to this audiobook for the Book Riot challenge, "historical romance by an author of color"
A love story to be shared on Valentine‘s day! 💖💖 Any Hamilton fans out there??
Really enjoyed this historical fiction book that showed an insight into founder, Alexander Hamilton and how Eliza had a lot going on herself. Can't wait to read more and see Hamilton!
This book was very meh. I thought it was dull and the characters were pretty flat. Not gonna read any of the others from this series
1. This was daughter (right) in her rec play. It was really silly, but she loves being on stage.
2. Just to my in laws and parents houses 15-25‘minutes away.
3. Lots of fun kids stuff this weekend.. tree lightings, Santa visits, etc.
4. My husbands energy drink can, or my phone if that counts
5. Alex and Eliza - YA telling of the Hamilton story

I'm deep in the slumpiest slump that ever slumped, but at least I can find it in me to listen to the tagged book on runs. It's not particularly riveting, and I'm some 30% in and nothing exciting is happening, but Cassandra Campbell could narrate the directory and I'd still listen to it 😍😂 Also, there's a house in the above photo. A good 60 metres from where I stood when I took it. Spoopy season is here. 🌫 👻
