Henry's doing a summer reading challenge where he gets rewards for reading. I asked if he wanted me to start a timer for him while he was reading this one. "Nah. I'm not reading this for the reading challenge. I'm just reading cause I want to." ? That's my boy.

5✨I‘ve said it once, but I‘ll say it again. Dog man is my get up and go again book series. I have been in love with this series. It‘s funny, it has a depth to it with classical stories, and it‘s feel good on top of all the laughs. My youngest likes the colors too.

Next up! I read these pretty quick so shouldn‘t be hard to finish this today while the girls watch their show. 😍🥰💛

Dog Man has competition!

This book I'm still reading but so far I really recommend it. It's a good tale of good a tale of evil a tale of heros but if you haven't been reading the books before this it wont make sense.

Ahh: it looks like captain underpants because it's made by the same guy.

This book remind me of the captain underpants books that I read as a kid. The art style is fun and bright and it seems like one of those books that kids would love to pick up.

Despite my best efforts, my son is still not a huge fan of reading, so finding a book he wants to read, completely voluntarily, just for fun, is a HUGE WIN.

My sweet 6 year old cracked open his book after a fun, exhausting day playing with his cousins and little brother. The adorable, but kind of bitchy, toy poodle belongs to my parents. 💚🐾

4⭐️ Dav Pilky knows how to read books to entice kids. This adventure adds in some superhero hijinks, and brings back the Flip-o-rama that exists in the Captain Underpants books. I love this series and so will your kids.

Our Scholastic book fair is in 2 weeks and I'm getting our flyers together to hand out!!! Since the book buying ban is technically still in effect, even though I blew it yesterday, I'm going to havw to convince the kids to buy me books I'd like to read, not vice versa. 😉 #noshameinmygame

My son - who in November didn't know the alphabet - has been so inspired by Dav Pilkey's books that he and is friend now have book writing play dates ❤️📚🎉
