I adore Gingerbread Houses - it‘s my favourite Christmas food related tradition- but over time gingerbread has fallen out of favour with the rest of my family (heathens!) and so no longer does one grace the centre of the table... but then I saw this mini Christmas surf shack and I thought #treatyoself!
It‘s almost Christmas! Which means it‘s almost time for a gingerbread house aka the Christmas food I look forward to the most!
I'm in Asheville for Christmas and today my mom and I stopped by the Grove Park Inn to see the gingerbread houses from the national competition - this is the one that won this year and it's book themed!
Lunch at the Winter Garden surrounded by gingerbread houses (so many!) and Christmas music. I don't celebrate the holiday but always enjoy the festive atmosphere this time of year. 🎄
