First day of second grade! As homeschoolers we have the liberty of starting later than our neighbors (of course, we finished first grade about ten days ago). This kid came flying into my room at 8:04 shouting that she‘s so excited and ready to start school NOW! I‘m so proud and excited to be on this journey with her.

Centique Oh she‘s so cute! That uniform is adorable 😊 My son and his friends at 8 are still in booster seats @MommyWantsToReadHerBook There‘s been a ton of education here (NZ) about it. We need to do better at making them affordable in low socioeconomic areas though 😕 6y

MommyWantsToReadHerBook @Centique that's so great! There are very few older kids in boosters here (South Africa) and shockingly few babies/toddlers in car seats in general so it's a bit of an obsession with me! 6y
