pickIt was nice to be in #NYRB world again. Dino , who‘s family‘s prosperity allows him to live a bohemian lifestyle, strives to be an artist.He is curious about the older artist in the building & his young model.When he feels he is failing, he is tempted to move home, his mother‘s attention drives him back to the simple studio.His boredom morphs into an existential crisis as his obsession with the model escalates.I was intrigued by it all.
With my Facebook and Twitter feeds full of #COVID19 news, I‘m avoiding them (only Litsy and Instagram are free of that stuff). And because I‘m avoiding them 4 the time being, I am realizing how much I use them throughout the day. Am also avoiding watching newscasts as well hence I‘m doing a Friends marathon on Netflix Canada.
Came to pick up some fast food for dinner and am kicking myself for not having the app to read my Netgalley ARCs on my phone right now 😑 I'm sooo bored and just wish I had something to read! 😕

Day 11: Dino‘s #misunderstood for sure, first by himself 🤷🏻♂️ then it‘s hard to say whether even more so by everyone else, & then only if because he so misunderstands them 🤔 Still, the biggest misunderstanding of all are his convictions about young Cecilia, changing & overtaking him throughout.
Not to worry! Ultimately leads to a certain semblance of something vital understood in the end 🌳

I would really like to DNF this lecture on computer forensics. But I can't, so I'm making random observations...like the fact that my La Croix can coordinates quite nicely with my analog notebook (yes, I'm taking notes old school style in my tech seminar) and my desktop.
