The Low tide in Twilight is not a typical romantic story but a very real one.

Here‘s my review for a book I finished reading. I‘m still reading the 5th Harry Potter book but it‘s going to take me awhile to finish because it‘s a long book and I really want to read Christmas books this month too. I didn‘t read any Christmas books last year. My plan is to read Christmas books and some of the book I‘m currently reading.
I‘m really enjoying this series! Couldn‘t have picked a better time of year to start it either. 🎃
Time is running out to sign up for Scarathlon 2022! It‘s a great way to celebrate Halloween all October long with a fun team competition! This is the time of year larger society doesn‘t judge me for what I read and watch…..and I earn points for my team too! 😂
For any folks new to Litsy, this is a great way to get involved and connect w/ others!
The last day to sign up is 9/28/22. Sign up by going here:

I received this book today from Celadon Books. It sounds interesting. I‘m looking forward to reading it.

~ The Forgotten Maid by Jane Cable ~
This is a very enjoyable dual timeline mystery set in a stunning part of the world . The two timelines complement each other beautifully, there are certain subtle parallels between them. The characters are well written and very believable. It perfectly combines historical fact with fiction and makes for a gripping tale. An engaging read which had me eagerly turning the pages.
I‘m reading The Forgotten Maid by Jane Cable.
“Two centuries apart, two lonely women seek a place to call home…”
For a Kindle freebie this was surprisingly good and I actually really want to read on in the series. It‘s been a while since I read a good magic book and this was good fun. It‘s lovely to see Mary come out of her shell and own her life. Also good to see some LGBT representation. The writing warms up, it‘s certainly not Austen, but good fun.
Watched this tonight, it‘s honestly possibly the best horror movie/psychological thriller that I‘ve seen in years. I can‘t recommend it enough!

I've decided to jump into #bookspin and try for #bookspinbingo next month. Who knows, maybe I'll get a #doublespin. Thanks @TheAromaofBooks for this great event!
Getting close to finishing the spring issue of The Paris Review. I ventured outside in my mask to get a boba tea (Blueberry Aloe Vera Chia Seed - so good!). This pandemic has made my social anxiety even worse. It's so rare that I interact with strangers now, I'm out of practice.

Here are my #BookSpin choices! I have so many #tbr on my shelf I needed this challenge! 😅📚
Thank you @TheAromaofBooks for putting this on! 💕
I would definitely love this!
This is how I feel today. Is there a job in this world that would pay me to read on my couch!!!!
The pace picks up and draws you in…who would want to frame Marty? Is it someone he knows, someone he‘s upset in the past or is there something even more sinister in play? And will he lose everything he holds dear?
Very clever writing, action packed and tense…..it certainly keeps you guessing. A must for lovers of twisty, exciting thrillers….
