My reading corner in the living room 💙
It‘s the little things - when your sheets match your book 💙Glad to finally get back to this one! Read it and Weep was a library book that I had been stuck on for over a month and was determined to finish. Still loving this book, even if I am only able to read in small bits
I enjoy Antonia Fraser's books and this was no exception. Interesting to learn the little parts of her life away from all the royal drama
This took me forever to finally finish, but it‘s a good sympathetic portrait of the tragic queen.
I have the kindle version of this, but I've been hunting for a gently used hardcover for ages. Today was the day I finally found one! Showed here with my housemate's fluffy kitty. #bookfind #marieantoinette #miyacatsprite #catsoflitsy #kittenlitten
A decadent woman who has long interested me. I end up torn in my feelings about her- libertine, product of her time, misrepresented, alienated woman... Marie was a complex woman who knew how to dress for a party.
