I really enjoyed this memoir about grief and how we navigate it through food. Michelle tells her story as a Korean American who had a rocky relationship with her mother (many of us do), their relationship, and the grief she experienced after her mother‘s death. She not only mourned her mother, but intimate, cultural gaps. There was never enough time to fill the space, to learn all the words, all the recipes. Deeply immersed in grief and food,⬇️
