Really enjoyed this and can‘t wait to read the next one.

Grave Reservations was my nighttime book, but since I had 20 minutes left I finished it on my first walk. Leda Foley is a psychic travel agent. When she saves the life of a cop client by rebooking his flight because of a feeling, she gets involved in a murder case. I like Leda; part of that is because, unlike mcs in many cozy mysteries, she doesn‘t do anything egregiously stupid. Continued with Widows. #diversecozies #audiowalk
More in my favorite #CoverTrend . The Booking Agents Series. Sounds like a cute cozy, a psychic travel agent teams up with a skeptical detective.
This was kind of silly but fun and entertaining. A travel agent who sings psychic karaoke helps solve several murders. Not as mad cap as Stephanie Plum, but a similar vibe.
22 #102 A new series. Not bad. Not 100% convinced I will continue. Might be a nice fall back. We shall see.
A psychic travel agent teams up with a police officer working on a cold case. Right up my alley!
Unfortunately, while there were elements I loved (the found family at Castaways, the klairvoyant karaoke, clairsentience), I found Leda more irritating than charming. She seemed to sulk whenever she was reminded that arrests need to be based on evidence and policework, not just her psychic flashes.
Felt like a 2000s chicklit but not in a good way.
This was super fun. Silly, but wonderful. I loved the friendship between Niki and Leda. Fabulous detective novel. Can't wait to pick up the next one!
I finished another title on my #bookspinbingo and found 162 words for the #scarathlon2022 #wordsearch.

This was a good cozy mystery with a little twist — the main character is somewhat psychic. I thought the characters were good and the mystery was interesting. I will read the next one for sure.

Finished up all but the Jane Austen mystery & A Secret Sisterhood. Louisa May Alcott was fascinating- so much new information drawn from impeccable, detailed research, from archives, letters, published works. Highly recommend for anyone interested in her character & life. Grave Reservations was a mystery with the unexpected duo of funky, karaoke singing psychic & policeman working together to solve a crime.

Finished every book but A Demon Summer. 213 pages in. With the exception of Suspense and Sensibility, all the books were such a pleasure to read. #MaxTudormystery #shesaid #sundaybuddyread #audio #literarymystery
Leda Foley of Foley‘s Far-Fetched Flights of Fancy cringed at her phone screen.
Now that's a mouthful 😅 #firstlinefridays
This was a fun read. When a sometimes psychic travel agent saves a detective from getting on a plane that blows up, things start getting weird. Can she work together with the detective to solve a case? And can they also figure out who killed her fiancé three years ago?
A psychic travel agent joins forces with a Seattle police detective to work on a series of unsolved murders. Quippy and fun!

Replacing the book I bailed on with a Cherie Priest novel. She's never served me wrong.

Charming contemporary cozy mystery
From the Publisher:
Meet Leda Foley: devoted friend, struggling travel agent, and inconsistent psychic. When Leda, sole proprietor of Foley's Flights of Fancy, impulsively re-books Seattle PD detective Grady Merritt‘s flight, her life changes in ways she couldn‘t have predicted.
Cozy mystery that started off strong but fell flat quickly! It had so much potential but it didn‘t work for me…did anyone else feel this way also?

This was a cute cozy mystery about a psychic travel agent. Who gets approached by a detective for some help on a cold case, after she saves his life by changing his reservation on a doomed flight!?
I really enjoyed the MC and the Detective ?️♂️, I laughed out loud when he admitted to a "jugallo" phase??. I really like cozies this time of year, and this one was a sweet one.

🎃 It's usually my favorite month, but I was sick for alot of it unfortunately. But had a good reading month 📚
🦃 Thanksgiving and voting in the Goodreads choice awards.
🦝 My friend got covid and got really sick. So grateful she is bouncing back.
This light mystery was pleasantly surprising—a nice mix of mystery and silliness. Read my full review here: https://debbybrauer.org/#grave-reservations-the-booking-agent...

Priest departs from the horror she usually writes to pen a story about a psychic, who also happens to work as a travel agent, who saves Grady Merritt‘s life by switching his flight, based on a “strong feeling.” It turns out Merritt is a policeman & he recruits Leda to help him solve a cold case. When she realizes that case is tied to the murder of her fiancée several years earlier, Leda is all in. This is a fast, easy read. Not deep but enjoyable.
This one is pretty fun. A psychic and a cop team up to solve a bunch of old murders after she stops him from being involved in a plane crash. Think Spellman files or some other fun mystery with quirky characters.
