This is my year of slower reading.
I read a lot of books that I just didn't post about at the same time I finished them because I was juggling a lot of reads and felt bogged down by trying to capture them and my thoughts to post that I fell behind and then I was left scrambling to post them all soooo....

Yeah.... I've decided on a slower reading pace this year to allow me to not just just enjoy my reading but the overall experience of reviewing.

I hope all the Littens in Southern California are safe! I have family out there who are luckily ok so far. These fires are so scary and devastating. Thinking of and praying for anyone who is affected by this disaster.

We currently have no fur/feather babies living with us...this is an art piece that I have done showcasing three of my little sweethearts who have journeyed-on.

I read this today and couldn't help but cringe...every time I venture out, It seems more and more people in my neighborhood are grumpier and angrier.

A few days ago, was out and about with my Mom when some guy walked up to her and pointed to the south while he said “the border is over there, you belong that way.“ All I overheard was the word “border.“ 👇

I had always dream of opening my own bookstore. When I was 16 I made this sign.

While I doubt that I will ever actually open my own book store, I have reenvisioned my dream shop & don't mind sharing this.

It was going to be fantasy/paranormal focused with steampunk decor.

While I've noticed that some Littens work with books, wondering if anyone here ever dream of opening a bookstore? Do you believe there is a chance these days?

Hi Littens, for this week, I had planned to post one of these positive posts each day...however, I won't be able to come on to Litsy tomorrow. Have a Good Friday everyone 😘💕💝.

For Lent this year, I gave up posting new “book“ reviews for 40 days here on Litsy...

For those who don't know, Lent (as a simple explanation) is when we Catholics give up something we like/love doing, eating, etc. for 40 days.

Since becoming a Litten, I have found myself completely enjoying being part of the Litsy community (thank you all for being so friendly).

As I read or finish reading, I love being able to share my reviews here👇

Began considering what my dream library would be like...I've done this before, yet this is the first time I went searching for the fun of it (which is a dangerous thing to do, there are many libraries that I just wanted to travel into and roam for awhile 😂).

Hi everyone, just wondering...

With all the excitement about Odysseus' Moon landing journey, I am wondering about the Ulysses mission way back in October 6, 1990.

Ulysses was lost in space, wasn't he? Orbiting the sun forevermore?

Not much into space...my brother was. He's name was Ulysses (for the Greek Hero, Odysseus). Why this all has my attention 💫😉👍.

There is a Yogi Bear themed campground and I never been there !!!!

They have a few more locations in other states.

We love Yogi !!! How have we not been to visit this epic place? 🤩.

Well, out of curiosity, I timed my current reading speed.

25-45 pages 📖 per hour (trade-paperback book, good font-size).

Assumed that was great until I checked it up...😂...sluggish to average.

I already believe that I've become a sluggish reader, therefore “average“ is a win for me 😉📚💝.

Those who read my tantrum over my grocery frustrations (thank you, @Leftcoastzen. It was kind of you to help me vent those frustrations), you know how we try to buy locally as we can (or grow in our garden).

1st from my state, 2nd my country, 3rd “the Americas,“ and 4th overseas (rarely anymore...).

Coffee is one that we always assumed would always fall under #3.

This Holiday Season sped by way too fast...my family starts celebrating Christmas from the beginning of November till the day after Tomorrow ☺️.

Early this year, was out and about when we saw this plastic sheet caught high in a city tree.

Aside from the pollution annoyance...I couldn't help wondering if it was someone's public call for Batman?

I mean, it looks like Batman's symbol, right???

While this has since torn to shreds and blown away...it remained in good shape for weeks. I would go and watch it, as if waiting for an actual Batman to show up 🥺🤩 LOL. 😂 If only...🤔.

A frozen treat. My mom & I love ice cream at any time of the year LOL.

Use well, overripe bananas (Instead of throwing them away, you can peel, slice, and freeze in freezer-safe container or bag).

Your choice of unsweetened powder cocoa.

Your choice of milk. I use unsweetened Almond Milk. Uses very little milk, you don't want a milkshake.

Sugar (optional).

Add ingredients 2 your taste.

Use a good blender, and blend until smooth.
