My #weekendreads : one audiobook and one physical library book. I'll probably start an ebook this weekend too, maybe an arc.

PopSugar Reading Challenge 2024: A book with an enemies-to-lovers plot
Faebound was straight-forward, cheesy, and obvious, but I absolutely gobbled it up.
I finished the book immediately needing the next instalment, so that's got to be a huge thumbs up.
I'm gonna round up to 4 stars because it's just what I needed, but I will reserve final judgement until I've read the whole trilogy.

Where on Earth am I going to store these beauties?? 😵😵😵

Whilst this is a pretty book I have to say I had a hard time getting into the story. The world building was there and I loved that this featured LGBTQ characters there was just something...missing. #bookspin @thearomaofbooks
When Yeeran is exiled from her home, she, her sister, & a friend discover the city of the lost fae, & the answers to the Forever War that has raged between the elves.
This was fun, but not what I was expecting. A lot more romantasy.
I loved the sibling, it resonated with me. The gworld building was grand, & I loved the interesting magic systems. My biggest issue was how quickly both romances developed & that they felt flat. 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑
Apparently December was a blue month for FairyLoot and Owlcrate. The December adult fantasy books were Faebound and The Serpent & the Wings of Night. Both are gorgeous editions.
Well, this is purdy 💜
