This is the first for this series. It is not as good as some of her other series but it makes me want to read the second one. It is about teens coming into their power with puberty with no help of any adults. It is a pretty cool book if your a teen. It has lots of drama like teens do.
Chloe‘s life is thrown upside down when she learns that she is part of the supernatural world, she and her new group of friends have to figure out how to escape being experiments and who is on there side. This novel is full of adventure, friendship, and trial and error. I recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys supernatural and adventure novels. Out of all the books I‘ve read this is my favourite.
I lived how fast-paced this book was. I'm really looking forward to the next in the series, especially since it ended on such a cliff-hanger!
I really enjoy reading this series and it is of the few books I have found and enjoyed dealing with necromancy.
This book turned out pretty much exactly like I expected. It was a quick, fun, easy YA read that could please a wide variety of non-readers. As an avid reader, I have slightly higher expectations, but by no means was this a boring book.
3.5/5
The only thing that is getting me through my absurd amount of homework are my reading breaks 😅
I feel like you can tell a lot about a person based on their favourite book. I would never be able to choose! But I am currently reading 'The Summoning', gifted to me by my cousin because it is her favourite. So far I can see why...

Day 4 of the countdown to #deweyoct #readathon here‘s a supernatural series that I loved reading 👻💕(werewolf‘s, necromancy, magic, so many things!)

Did a little #audiowalking this evening and started this book. Enjoying it so far. Have been eyeing this series for a bit, so we‘ll see how book one progresses! Anybody read this series?? Thoughts? 🎧
I suck at selfies and have never successfully pulled off a #bookface photo so I'm amazed that I lucked out and snapped this today on my first try...well, first try with this particular book, that is! I had some pretty epic fails with a few other books I tried! It's not perfect, but it's far better than any of my previous attempts so I'll call it a win. #ReadingResolutions
My cat (Ashes) and my dog (Hazy) are sadly no longer with me (It‘s been a few years now) and I haven‘t wanted to get any new pets since, so for today‘s #BooksWithPets prompt I thought I would just post a pic of my framed pics of them on my bookshelf 💙💙 #MarchInBooks 🍀📖

✨These are three of my favorite #ya #paranormal series and they all helped get me into reading YA books years ago! Plus, look at the gorgeous covers. 😍What book(s) got you into a specific genre?✨#hushhush #thesummoning #fallen #beccafitzpatrick #kelleyarmstrong #laurenkate
This book was fantastic. Deals with serious mental health concerns through the Guise of metaphysical and magical fiction. At least. That's what I got from it.
Finished the series for a second time and really recommend the books! Fantastic for any reading level with enough action to keep you going for days, and touches of romance for those who appreciate that.
This was my second time reading The Summoning and I loved it once again! I really enjoyed the book and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys having some supernatural teenagers in their lives. 5/5 ⭐️
GO AND READ THIS BOOK. I read most of this book yesterday and just finished up the last few chapters today. Highly intriguing, and that twist at the end?! I need to get reading the next one asap l find out what happens
Anything Kelley Armstrong writes is addictive. I might have to make it a personal goal to read everything she writes 😀
So excited to find this YA series for my niece at my library used book store. Brand new books for a dollar each! And of course I bought for myself too!
This is a pretty good read. Easy and light; also there's supernaturals. My only thing is how have they not heard of terms such as witch, sorcerer, etc and they are 15 or older?
I gave her a head. #headlesscovers #photoadaynov16
I am currently reading this book from my public library and I just love the way it fits in my hands and the way the pages smell and feel! Does anyone else ever get super excited about things like that? Like it's just so worn out and you can tell it's been a lot of places and so many others have read this one copy of this story.
I had hoped for a bit more paranormal from this one. The story dragged a bit and I wished for some more "scary" throughout. It took way too long to get to the realization of what they all were and it might have spiced up the story more if their "powers" had been introduced much sooner.
Paranormal pick for the Houston YA Book Club. #spooktober #litsyfeature
I wasn't sure I'd enjoy it, but really got into the correlation between mental illness and apparent supernatural abilities!
I just love this series!!! Kelley Armstrong is a fabulous writer. #ya #ghosts #paranormal #kelleyarmstrong #series
I've read this book at least four times, but it continues to creep me out every time. Now, on to the rest of the trilogy which, strangely enough, I've never read.
