1. No goals. I suppose the closest thing to a plan that I have is just making sure I read a little every day. Usually I end up reading 40-50 books in a year.

Hooked_on_books Not only did I love the story, but I love the PNW and she evokes it so well. I felt like I was right there in that forest. Fabulous! 2y

Soubhiville @Hooked_on_books it‘s funny, I grew up in the North East, and I felt like these were men I knew in my childhood as well. Especially Lark. Maybe Northern outdoorsmen are the same all across the country? I have only been to the PNW twice, but definitely felt an affinity for those forests. 2y

Hooked_on_books I do think there‘s a certain flavor some people develop based on life experiences that can pervade across cultures and locations, even across the world. We should focus more on that than on our differences—we would all be better off. 2y

marleed @suzie.reads I‘m so impressed with your ability to pull your armchair through Europe this year. I‘m afraid that will take me a couple years as I‘m only at 5 or 6 countries. Books I own seem to cluster in England, Ireland, and France. 4y

suzie.reads @marleed I find that myself. Most of my books are set in England and America. Had to dig around to find a book for every country. So many good suggestions from people on here 😊 4y
