pick3.5⭐This says that you may be a princess but to get stuff done, you need to wear pants. That sometimes skirts get in the way and that the job is more important than the fashion. The book rhymes decently. However, the cadence has many places where it switches and or faults. Do I think this is the best book that will be talked about for 20 years? Most likely not. But was it a good effort
pickI‘m not sure which part I found the most charming/entertaining - a witch who traps princesses in towers for the art of it, a princess who eventually realises that violence is the answer and a bottom of the garden fairy with a penchant for science, tactics and explosives. This was my first Tamsyn Muir - and I loved how this unfolded so I suspect - not my last.
