My #HauntedHalloweenSwap is all packaged and ready to ship. Unfortunately not a single post office or UPS store near me is open today. So tomorrow it‘ll be sent with a rush on it ❤️📚. # Litsyswap #procrastination #whyamilikethis
This book is exactly what it says. Inside are 21 actionable steps anyone can take to get done what needs to be done. There is a lot of value contained within this short book. Another one that should be read often. I've started a few of the ideas outlined. Get it and eat that frog!!
This intrigues me. I need "time management" in my busy life. This looks to be a book of actionable steps, not theory.
“Look your perfectionism program right in the eyes and make a mental shift as you remember that you are enough just as you are, doing or not doing.”
“Explore the personal benefits of accomplishing your goal to yourself and others. Focus on doing what you do because you want to, not because you need to. Avoid guilt words, such as “need” and “have to.” Guilt will keep you stuck.”

“Perfectionism and procrastination walk hand in hand: “If I do what I want or feel that I need to do, and the end result is not perfect, then I have failed. So, to avoid the emotions and experience of failure, I will put this project off for a while. In this way, I‘m safe.”

Video games may be Cameron's whole life, but when there's a fire in his house because of his own negligence, he's got to convince his parents he's active in school. By setting up a pretend civic club that takes on a life of its own, he realizes that there are bigger things out there. A fun MG book and my first Korman. 😁
I'm joining #BFC2022 to challenge myself to make small changes a month at a time. Thank you @wanderinglynn for hosting!
My January book goal is to review all the books I've read that month. I tend to slog off at some point, but this month's Winter Games event reminded me that it's doable as long as I make it a priority.
My January fitness goal is to use the under the desk stepper Santa brought (aka me) for my new office job.
