I forgot how much of a comfort read this is for me. It makes me more excited than I already was to reread the series. I think my favorite part of this first book is how Mercy stumbles into this role we see for her throughout the series just because she‘s trying to be a good person and not judging people based on the type of creature they are. And the discovery of just how powerful Walkers can be is only just starting. #reread

MeganAnn @Schnoebs Me too! I think I‘ve read the first 5 books in the series and only the first Alpha & Omega. I borrowed them from a friend who no longer lives close when I read them many years ago so I never had my own copies to do a reread until now. I‘ve been collecting used copies of the series whenever I find them for the past six months for that purpose. Just found Moon Called on Pango Books so when that arrives I‘m planning to start. 1w

I recently discovered graphic audiobooks in the last year. Now I‘m working through my old favourites (like this one) as well as new finds
What do you think of Graphic Audio “a movie in your mind”??

Butterfinger I like them. As I was reading, I heard the man's voice. LOL. I listened to Fourth Wing and the ACOTAR series. I like how they use the same voice actors for the characters through the series. I'm sure that is tough to do. 3w

Mackenzie Carter (ER resident) needs a selfie with a possible date to get her scheming grandmother off her back. Dr Noah Taylor (surgeon) needs a mate to appease the hospital board after they found out about his alpha status. A bargain is struck and the two of them enter a fake mate-ship. But needing to spend time together actually brings them together.

I remember watching the film when I was younger and Werewolf films were all the rage. It was so long ago, but I seem to remember it was more ecological and thoughtful than this book which is straight up pulpy horror. I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Cry Wolf | Patricia Briggs

I've been (re)listening to Patricia Brigg's Alpha & Omega series, narrated by Holter Graham. So far: Cry Wolf, Hunting Ground, Dead Heat, and Fair Game.

I think Dead Heat is my fav of the series, with Fair Game a close second. The background story arcs of politics and the supernatural are fascinating.
