A fun, light-hearted listen that made me smile. And honestly that was all I was looking for when I pressed play on this one.
I did however liked 'Talking as Fast as I Can' more. This was a good add-on just maybe a bit too short.

pickA low pick. The writing for me was a little lackluster. I didn‘t feel the tension one would expect in this situation and it wrapped up almost too neatly. But it was a nice palette cleanser.

This one got me so confused. It is being sold as a YA, and I was not prepared for the heavy topic it contains. In my opinion, adultery in this grade is not for the YA readers.
But once I got over that I was NOT reading a YA I really enjoyed the depth that this book brought me.

pickIf you like baking shows or a grumpy-sunshine trope this book is a good choice. My second title finished for #auldlangspine was another fun romance.
I loved Sylvie‘s bakery, her glittery personality, and the enchanted forest speakeasy in the basement. Dominic is her rival baker and her opposite in every way… at least on the surface. It took a bit, but eventually I was so invested in their story that I had to keep reading until the end. 4⭐️
pickBook 4 in the series. Not my favorite but still a good, quick audiobook. I enjoy my visits to Miracle Springs.
