Holy moly. I‘ve read many, many wonderful books so far this year. Most of them because of the reading challenges I‘m participating in. Unless something blows my socks off in the next 10ish weeks, this is going to end up being my favorite book of the year. I could go on and on. This is my first Daphne du Maurier experience. I‘m only 15 pages in and ready to buy everything she ever wrote. How romantic is that description of this man?! I‘m hooked. #litsyreadingchallenge #lrc20

Loved this one 💕#botm ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really wanted to love this short story collection. The themes of the stories were great, and I love a good ghost story, but in this case they just didn't seem to go together. In many, the ghost element felt like it was added as an afterthought, or the story was stretched in some weird ways to accommodate it. 30pgs into this thriller I received from @Jenshootsweddings Very interesting so far, the way the dialogue splits in two directions at times is a bit disconcerting, but it's keeping me interested so that's a plus. Last book for March DONE! Daniel Silva does not disappoint. There's plenty of nail-biting suspense and tension with strong, developed characters (the band is back together) and compelling storytelling. I'm so glad I finally checked this off my TBR. #LRC20 - on TBR for more than a year (since 2012!) and #8 for Mount TBR.
