pickAnother nostalgia-pick, this concludes the original trilogy. None of these kids act like kids, but I love this story and always have. First finish of #AnyWayYouReadathon (I think I‘ll actually meet my goals!).
Goals for #AnyWayYouReadathon are pretty modest: catch up on Vanguard for #SheSaid and The Tao of Pooh for #DeadPhilosophersSociety and finish the tagged. Family are conspiring against me reading this week, but I‘m going to try! If, by some miracle, I meet those goals I‘ll start Squad.

Reading this was my big goal for #20in4 - all that‘s left is starting The Tao of Pooh for #DeadPhilosophersSociety and I‘m really down to the wire on that! But we‘re off to Trunk or Treat (kiddo is “Hermione Granger from Harry Potter!”) so that‘s for later.

pickThis should probably be a so-so, but I‘m grading on a curve for nostalgia. I LOVED this series as a young teen - it actually inspired a Halloween costume in ninth grade and prompted a love of mythology and witchy lore (only the former persisted, unfortunately). A fun, quick read that didn‘t require much focus while I was traveling.

Man, I loved this series as a teen! I hard core identified with Cassie, who moves to a small community where everyone else has always known one another, which is what I also did around that time. Sadly, I did not get befriended by a circle of gorgeous witches and find my soulmate and my family's Book of Shadows, but I did join Reading Team, so pretty much the same.
