1- Aside from a few exceptions, the last few times out and about were nice. I mean the people were nice again. Like my neighborhood's mood has been uplifted...like people are less stressed and more hopeful 💫.
2- It's Friday the Thirteenth! Always a fun day 👻🥳!
3- Scary movie night, it's a tradition for Friday the 13th. Not sure what we're watching yet 🎬🤔. 👇

👻 Stolen Tongues by Felix Blackwell -the ending was okay but the rest was creepy. I hardly recommend to read it with the audiobook.

While two of these are more summery Halloween reads (SUMMER OF NIGHT & THE DEAD GIRLS CLUB), all three raised the hair on my arms, made my ankles tingle & kept me turning pages long into the night, only increasing the spooky factor! #TLT

I‘m a big ol‘ wimp so my spooky reads tend to be real low on the scary meter. My Best Friend‘s Exorcism had enough campyness and fun 80‘s references that I was able to read it but in daylight hours only. I‘ll Be Gone in the Dark was good tense nonfiction and I finally read Frankenstein last year and loved it.

1. The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix.
2. Psycho by Robert Bloch.
3. And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie.
4. Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman.
5. Doctor Sleep by Stephen King.
I‘d actually recommend the whole Practical Magic series by AH because it brings such a strong Halloween vibe! #Halloween
