I had high hopes for this one. The second half fell flat for me. It felt rushed and a little too wacky for the sake of being wacky. It sounded like something that kid in high school you gave fake drugs to would make up when they were "high." I hope Melissa Albert continues to hone in on her writing style because I still see potential.

Currently reading Final Girls. This is my full #24in48 #readathon TBR pile. I won't get through all of these but I'm heading out to dog/house sit this weekend so i need choices.

I'm not quite done yet, but I already know this will probably be my favorite of the year. Have about a quarter left. Couldn't finish since I needed to pack up my campsite this morning. In bed now and will finish it before lights out.

Megan Abbott has just become a new favorite. The Fever is the first of hers I've read. Now I must read everything. This book is a thriller and suspense, plus back stabby teen girls vying for attention, hysteria, etc. The 3rd person POV switches between 16 year old Deenie, her older brother, & their dad (a teacher at their school.) Why are a bunch of girls getting sick with seizures? Why are they all connected to Deenie? Where is Eli's phone?

I was visiting Huntington, WV this week and saw this #LittleFreeLibrary put up by the parks and as rec department. LFLs excite me as a reader and the steward of the one in my neighborhood. #LFL
