This was a low pick. The audiobook and story were a bit meh. I wasn‘t trying to find times to listen to it and was a bit bored at times.

I‘ve apparently been reading a lot of cursed family books.

This family is cursed to never fall in love. They either have to ensnare someone to get married or they die at 30. Doreen decides to try and break the curse before her 30th bday.

This was pretty good. A take on beauty and the beast. Briar‘s dad who is an inventor basically sells her away to get married as an omega to alphas. He did a lot of experimenting on her to keep her “healthy”. She‘s never eaten real food. She used to do ballet but got injured and can no longer perform. She has to navigate her new world and figure out who these 3 guys are to her.

This might be my favorite book I‘ve read in October so far! I love this author. Harry left her hometown after a matching ceremony when she wasn‘t matched with her high school boyfriend and he was matched with someone else. She has to go back to her hometown to help out her friend‘s daughter, who is in her care. I loved the town, the characters, all of it!

Bought this one last year but finally got to it this year. Delia‘s family was cursed and say that they‘re witches but no one believes them. Max‘s uncle dies and he has to come and clean up his house, etc. He and his brother decide to keep an eye on Delia‘s family to make sure she doesn‘t break the curse before her 30th birthday. It is a witchy romance.

Short story about a fallen angel/succubus (I think) who can never be noticed but needs sex to live. His curse can‘t be broken until someone actually sees him. He sneaks into a Halloween party and sees a woman and wants to get closer.

This one was pretty good. These are all quick reads.

Read this novella/short story by Ali Hazelwood. It was okay. Basically a vampire has been running from a vampire slayer her whole life. He loses his memory, so she decides to help him until he gets his memory back.

Another one I can‘t find in the catalog. It was not great. It starts on Halloween, on a ghost tour in a haunted college. They are “ghost hunters” and decide to stay after hours to search for ghosts. They end up getting spirits attached to them and they have to figure out what‘s going on.

Randomly picked this up on hoopla. Jeanie‘s aunt gifts her a coffee shop. Jeanie moves from Boston to a small town to run it after she found her boss dead on his desk. She figures out how to make friends, run a coffee shop and most likely fall in love. Grumpy sunshine romance.

An interesting romance book concept. Nora owns a casket shop in a small town in Alabama. Garrett stumbles into her store asking for directions. Nora is suspicious when he starts showing up at places people have died. It appears Garrett works for death. Nora can‘t accept his job. A lot of grief, death and funeral talk in this book.

Finished this one last night. It was spicier than I expected but it was still really good. A lot about healing and learning who you are and want to be. It‘s a bit magical realism with premonitions and dreams. Zane and Autumn meet in Cozy Creek and fall in love. They both have bad exes and baggage and have to work through it.

Ahh! I can‘t wait for the next book to come out. Bristol goes into the fae world to search for her father who she has believed is dead. There‘s some romance and steamy scenes. I loved this book. It was also great on audio.

Perfect way to start the spooky season. Clara rents a room in a Victorian house and it‘s possibly haunted. This is an omegaverse book, so of course 4 alphas are her roommates. This was a fun, spicy read.

I told you I‘m currently obsessed with Elsie Silver! This is the 1st book in this series. I wish I would have read it in July before I went to a rodeo, so I would know some of what was going on! Summer is working as Rhett‘s publicist/babysitter to keep him out of trouble, but they end up falling in love.

Low pick but probably because it‘s very different than all the other books I‘ve been reading lately. I picked it up because it was this month‘s pick for #swordandlaserpodcast.

It‘s a magical mystery series. A different type of magical system. Iz gets hired to solve a mystery and is put into a lot of peril. She works with her husband and there is a dragon in a magical world bag.

The second book in this duology. This was still a fun series. I read it 2 weeks ago so I don‘t remember a lot but enjoyed listening to it.

This one just came out in September! The last book in this series. It‘s an age gap romance. It also has wildfires and lots of yoga.

I love all the characters in this town.

Cute but VERY spicy autumn book. It‘s part of the omegaverse, which I hadn‘t read before and am now obsessed with!

Not sure what drama is going on with this book or author, but Goodreads wouldn‘t let me rate it. I liked it. Some of the sex scenes were a bit much, but overall I liked all the characters and the story.

I might be a big fan of hockey romances now!

Loved this! Princess Melilot has gone on many adventures for her stepmother. When she gets ordered to marry a king, she goes off to his kingdom. She gets attacked on the way and is saved by 6 identical men, there are actually 12 and that story enfolds as you go on. I loved the way the story unfolded and all the characters.

Gemma writes a romance book and the book/cover resembles her ex high school boyfriend who is now a famous hockey player. They strike up a fake relationship for publicity, but is it really fake?

Finished a lot of books in September so far and haven‘t reviewed any of them!

I read this the day I received it from #botm. That doesn‘t happen very often.

Louisa finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her and they break up. She tells him she just wants their house. It‘s in Colorado. She loves the house and has the idea of making it into a B&B. The house is owned by Henry who is reluctant at first but ends up helping out a lot.

There is a lot of grief in this book and how to deal with loss.

So I couldn‘t find this book in the system. It‘s Stuck with my Pack by Nora Quinn. I don‘t know if it‘s self published or what, I randomly picked it up on KU.

This book has had quite a few typos and the flow/chapters are weird, but this might be the worst.

This is an age-gap romance, but I liked it. She gets hired as a nanny and can‘t stop thinking about the hot single dad she works for.

Finished in August. This is the 2nd book in the series. The 2 MCs met in the 1st book and they referenced their time together a lot. I didn‘t read the 1st book and did feel like I missed some of their history. However, it did still work as a standalone. Though I am interested to read the next book!

I randomly saw this book came out recently and picked it up on KU. I really liked it but not really any smut until the end and just minor. 3 different POVs. Jory is supposed to be marrying to save her kingdom. Asher is an assassin and is hired to kill Jory and Maddox. There is a lot of journeying in this book and building trust. I need the next book now!

This book had so much going on. This is a new series to me and I‘m liking it so far. I liked the different point of views and it really kept the book interesting and flowing. I also like reading these with #littenslovesjm and reading it over the month. Can‘t wait for the next one!
