Does anyone else have a favorite narrator that they just really enjoy listening to their voice and how they read the story? Mine is Imogene Church! For some reason I love how she narrates Ruth Ware‘s books 😍

Can anyone tell me what the new overdrive app name? It popped up once when I was listening and I haven't seen it since! HELP!

Elora.mitchell I may not be understanding your question, but I hope this helps.... I think overdrive is in the process of updating their site and app, and it won't change over for you until your library changes it. 8y
lcarter3489 Yes! I finally got an email from my library after I posted this! The new app is called cloudLibrary! 8y

I'm trying really hard to like this book... I love Stephan king but he is overwriting and giving details for things that I feel are unnecessary.... I'm pushing through because I'm terrified of clowns and who doesn't love a good scare??? Also never seen the movie and plan on seeing that after finishing the book and plan on seeing the new movie!

Anna and the French Kiss | Stephanie Perkins

So I enjoyed Anna and the French kiss and would like to read the other two... HOWEVER, I was wondering if they had to be read in a certain order? Some places say yes and others say no...

MeganB You don't HAVE to, they're only loosely connected so they all stand alone however I think the impact of the ending of Isla (#3) would be a little less emotional if you don't know all of the back stories. Isla and Josh's romance is great either way but you see the characters from Anna and Isla again and the punch of knowing how they all got there is just 😍😭 8y

After You: A Novel | Jojo Moyes

Wondering where everyone gets their audio books?! I get them from audible but I just heard about overdrive?

LauraBeth If I buy, then I get them from audible but if I borrow from the library then I use Overdrive 8y
lcarter3489 @LauraBeth does overdrive work with all libraries, do you know? I've never heard of it before! 8y
LauraBeth I think most libraries are using overdrive. I'm sure your library has a digital resources link on their site that probably takes you to overdrive. I'll select audiobooks from my library's website and then listen to them on the overdrive app on my phone. Hope this helps because it will unlock a ton of audiobooks for you 😀 8y

I started this book thinking I really wouldn't like it... However, I ended up really enjoying it! Some parts were extremely dull but the action packed parts made it worth it. After reading what comes in the second book I'm not quite sure I want to continue.. Thoughts?

littlelibrarian I would at least do the second one, Dragonfly in Amber. 8y
bookishkai Keep reading. A Dragonfly in Amber and Voyager are my favorites, but once you get into the books it's hard to stop (and I skim through a lot of the battle scenes too) 8y
Coleen I just read the 2nd recently (keeping up with the series on Starz), and was planning to read one per year, to follow the series on TV. But there's a cliffhanger at the end of #2, so if you read that one, you won't be able to stop there. 8y
