I intended to take a nonfiction break; apparently I'm not 😂🤷🏻♀️

I had to bail at page 63, the spin was making me too dizzy to keep reading.

Ok Littens, y'all have piqued my curiosity with this one!

While Schönhaus' story of living in Berlin under the Nazi regime as a Jewish document forger is interesting, the writing was just so, so bad.

This reading is inspired by The Book of Lost Names that piqued my interest in the people who forged documents in WWII. Shout out to @Offmybookshelf for finding this book and passing it on to me ❤️

A moving story, with a little too much repetition as it was told from various PsOV. But, and not to sound cold hearted, I was a little annoyed with Mary Kaye. If you sprain your ankle and your entire leg swells the next day get thee immediately to the ER, do not pass Go, don't even stop for a red light; you don't wait for your doctor's appt the next day.

I love Debbie Macomber's cozy, easy-flowing stories when life gets hectic.

Now that all the "Have Tos" are behind me I can answer this in a better frame of mind ?
I love the holiday feeling that settles over everything with less rush and more slowing down to take in decorations everywhere, and people just seem more cheery and friendly.

My first blackout Bingo board!!! 💃🏻😁🎉
Because this is written in a series of essays the repetition got on my nerves. But the rest was enjoyable, and the parts about Eddie were sheer gold.

Interesting history of not only the family, but also, the Gilded Age, and NYC. It helped me make better sense of 'The Swans of Fifth Avenue' by Melanie Benjamin.

That was a flora and fauna snooze fest, but I got another bingo 😁

Going for a 4th bingo with this book that's been on my TBR shelf since college

This just did not flow as well Ehrenreich's other books. Her attempt to show death's inevitability, and explain why it's not in our nature to accept it nearly bored me to death. But I did get two bingos!

It doesn't take a whole lot of mental gymnastics to make this fit today's prompt if you know that Felix enjoyed nothing better than his own #HomeCooking 😂

Very repetitive and slow, but the early medieval history was interesting.

Sometimes you just have to step out your front door to see cool shit - the epitome of a lazy adventurer 🤣🤣

I can't believe not a single Debbie Macomber book I own has a cozy #Fireside cover! So this will have to do 😂

The writing was a little too stream of consciousness for me, but the breadth of history was fascinating.
