Nice little find at DollarTree
Starting my first #AllergicToChunksters of the year which also is my April #DoubleSpin and a #BookSpinBingo book. I love when the reading challenge stars align ☺️
I really enjoyed this slice of life family story. Being close to the MC's age, there was quite a bit I could identify with.

Late to the party, but glad I finally made it.
I liked it, but I didn't love it. Jim's surprise revelation diminished it somewhat for me 🤷🏻♀️

It was worth reading. A little slow until about halfway. It had a bit of a covering my ass feeling to it; but overall an interesting, horrifying read.
But what the hell was that wasp scene at end?

Current read
A good, sink-into, partially estranged family story. I really liked the characters, the pacing, the writing. I will definitely be reading more this author.

I read that meta won't allow the author to promote her book on their platforms; so of course I just to order it. #bookmail
2 days ago my backyard was covered in 6in" of snow; today outdoor reading--gotta love Colorado! ?
Starting March's #doublespin
I don't know, this kind of bored me. I think I expected more from a Civil War novel, but I don't know what 🤷🏻♀️

I've had this #BlameItOnLitsy read on my TBR shelf for a couple of years now. So glad my IRL book club chose it for this month!
History wise--interesting and enlightening; story wise--kind of boring.
