Much thought was required here. It was a tough choice between The Book of Charlie and Demon Copperhead. And then another tough choice between The Sun Down Motel and The Book of Charlie, especially since there are such different books. But seeing as I wanted to call everyone I knew and shout from the rooftops to read The Sun Down Motel, it clearly deserves the 1/2 year top spot.

pickIf it didn't have the ending it did, it would've been a so-so read. Space exploration and NASA just don't do it for me, so my attention kept wondering. But I did love that ending.
