I did some Audio baking today and made bread for the first time!! It turned out okay. A little too crusty and could have used a little more flavor but all in all a very good experience for my very first time!!

The second book in the series. I wasn‘t as engaged in this one as in the first book, but I still enjoyed it. I am getting tired of the love triangle already, but adore the spellbook club members and their interactions. I will continue the series.

This picked up a little quicker than the first one and actually kept me guessing for a fair amount of time. I‘m enjoying this series just enough to keep checking out the next one, even if I‘m not enthralled.

I decided to abandon my reading plans for the month and just read what I feel like; when I feel like it. And now I feel like a light and fun cozy.

Getting a much delayed oil change and basically throwing money at Grease Monkey employees who keep showing me horrifying filters and shiz. I know nothing about cars. But at least the wait gives me expensive reading time. Sigh.

This is just a fun cozy witchy mystery—maybe I have coined a genre😂 It‘s not great literature, but it‘s an interesting mystery with intriguing characters. This is the second in the series, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. The recipes look good, too!

Another cozy mystery by Bailey Cates. She takes us to Savannah and keeps us on our toes with the unfolding mystery. Murder, cappuccino and muffins keep us wanting more.

Got sidetracked with other bookish things but picked this back up today to finally finish. And when the character cooks frittata- I cook fritatta! GOOD MORNING ☀️

Because I have spent the last 24 hours with my 3yo grandson, who just went for a nap, leaving an exhausted Nana who doesn‘t have the energy for anything but light reading 😂

Finally got to finish this one! It auto-returned to the library with only 2 hours left. A cute read, and light enough for me to listen to at work; I‘ll definitely listen to the other on in the series that my library has.

Soup and sticky meatballs done and cooking, tikka marinating in the fridge so my husband can grill it up tomorrow. Butter is still thawing for the honey butter. A productive morning, I think!

I enjoyed this book (second in the series) more than the first, which tells me that I'm in for a real treat as the series progresses! This makes me happy because I've been DNFing some other more popular culinary cozies (some of them are problematic). My one critique of this book: the cat in the story doesn't deserve to be on the cover. It's all about Mungo the dog 🐶

Starting a cozy mystery today. This is about as "cozy" as I can get with this warm southern weather. One thing that never changes though, I can not drink iced coffee. It tastes so gross to me. Does this make me weird? ?

I really loved this book! The characters and writing were fantastic. A good fast pace and a lot of humor and fun. Only qualm is the love triangle, which hopefully won't go on for too long - I hate when they drag out! Can't wait to read more in this series. (Plus: recipes!) 👍
