Finally, we have the Omani Owl, a species discovered for the first time in 2013 in the hillside groves of Oman.

This cute little book is incredible! Beautiful illustrations and interesting facts that left me wanting to learn more. A great little introductory book for anyone interested in 🦉.

#TIL : The Long-Eared 🦉, Asio otus, is a “tall, elegant bird who would rather eat you than do herself the disservice of looking at you. 😂

Okay, maybe not a fact, but it definitely made chuckle.

Be prepared for a lot of Owl facts, this book is so cute, funny, and educational!

#TIL : The Eurasian Pygmy 🦉 hunts birds twice its size, “like a pocket-sized politician after a liquid lunch”. 😂

They are roughly the size of a new ✏️.

Ambition took over when I reviewed Booktuber Book Roast‘s Wizarding Careers Guidebook for her O.W.L. Readathon this month. Trying to keep my options open, I‘ve got to read 10 books, which, given my five-book-per-month average is a bit unlikely, but oh well. Above are the prompts I‘m going to follow. I just bought two previous #Owlcrate boxes while the kitten had her mad five minutes. Now she's playing camouflage cat.

Wow!! Sooooo excited thank you Sarah for the wonderful 'Owl Post' I LOVE everything especially the little bag! And the colouring book! Sophie just recently took all my colouring pencils so the new colouring set is great. The scarf is gorgeous too, I've seen a few but none I've liked enough to buy, but I'll definitely wear this. The frame, mug bookmark.....everything is perfect thank you so so much ❤️💕
