Quotes from him are shown throughout the book, some were meant to inspire you and some were just jokes that are just there to make you laugh. It was purposely made to make you feel loved. First-person is the point of view of the book to show that the author is speaking directly to you and to try to motivate you. If you like Comedic Poetry I would highly recommend this book.

Gleefulreader This was the first thing I saw on opening Litsy right now, and it is completely comforting. I need to find my way back to books. I am finding it so hard to concentrate or enjoy my reading with the terrible news every day in the US, but I realize that books are where I find my strength (and goodness knows, I'll need a lot of that over the next few years). 7y

MicheleinPhilly @Gleefulreader @Bibliogeekery I hear you. I've found that the only thing that works for me is having media "blackout" days. I'll read breaking news alerts from the NYT and WaPo but otherwise, no news - print or tv - or social media (except Litsy). It helps center and calm me. 7y

LibrarianRyan @Texreader I'm mad at myself. Someone caught it a few weeks ago. I delegated my saved copy from my tablet, fixed it, and then downloaded it again. Yet it still downloads with the mistake. Ughhhh. 👿 7y
