I just wanted to share this 2025 reading tracker from Novelly Yours. It‘s available to preorder now like the Instagram post says. I‘ve been liking the 2024 reading tracker. This was my first year using one so I preordered the 2025 one. Novelly Yours is a small bookish business. Definitely support small businesses if you can. I wish I could support everyone but I‘m doing what I can do right now.

I liked doing my pixel tracker for my reading so much last year that I set up a new one for 2024!

Clwojick I did a version of this last year too, and I loved how it came out, until i hit a major slump, then it made me sad. 😂 I should try your version of this with daily pages read, instead of daily books finished, since that seems a little more realistic for my upcoming year.

Also, look at you go with all those purple blocks! You go girl!

keys_on_fire @Clwojick yes! The pages read made it so that I felt I had progress each day because even 1 page counted! 12mo

When you need to calm the mind, I highly recommend an hour playing with your reading stats! This might be the new replacement for the relaxing spa experience!!🤣

#JanuaryRecap #FebruaryTBR

I finished 3 books off #theunreadshelf this month, with another 2 in progress. 1 is scheduled in February for #ReadWithTBRCrew, but I‘m sure something will make its way into the pile for February!

@Crazeedi I am the administrator for a Group on Librarything (Read It, Track It) where people set up their own threads to track their reading. The one on the right is my tracker. I and others also use this to track any challenges we are doing. You can also create threads to show books you are planning to read and then edit the post to show it has been read. Flexible to use however you want.

http://www.librarything.com/groups/readittrackit2016

Crazeedi Thank you andrew, I haven't really used LT much, I will check this out , it may be the answer 5y
Andrew65 @Crazeedi Have a look at the different threads and see how people have done theirs differently. I only really use Librarything for the groups and for the Group Reads I Lead. You will notice my 2019 reading log is a bit behind. Need to update it. 😔 (edited) 5y
Crazeedi @Andrew65 will do!! 5y

LibrarianRyan That‘s an interesting way to use LT. Looks cool. 5y
Andrew65 @LibrarianRyan Just thought it was a good way to keep a record of my yearly reading and any challenges I do. Amazing how often I refer back to my 2018 and 2017 reading logs etc. A number of us now use it for that and does occasionally lead to some discussion of books. (edited) 5y
EadieB Shame we can‘t track our books on Litsy. 5y
Andrew65 @EadieB Yes I agree. 5y

@Crazeedi Here‘s a picture from after I finish a book. I number the book 172 for example gave Lying Room 4 stars and date finished and a short review. Hope this is helpful and shows how you can track your reads for the year.

@Crazeedi You asked how I track my readings. I use LibraryThing under Mystery/Suspense and list my books and reviews there for the month. I have taken a screenshot which shows what I hope to finish for November and what I hope to read for December 2019.

Crazeedi Thank you, I'm going to check out LT and see if it works for me, appreciate!! 5y

That awesome moment when you realize you can fix a reading reset back to zero on Bookly when you accidentally let it record reading time for over five hours....I‘ve canned so many reading sessions because I forgot to stop the timer! Game changer!

Crazeedi Is this free or do you pay for this app? 5y

Our library is using a new tracking app for patrons to register for the #SRP, and it looks kind of cool. It gives basic stats, much like Bookly, but no cute info graphic generator. Also you can track multiple readers, which could be useful with my emerging readers. Anyone else use Beanstack? I'm trying it out this summer and see if it would be worthwhile to use year round. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.beanstack (also for 🍎)

Trying out a new #bujo #bulletjournal #readingtracker for 2019 alongside GR. I'm using colors to track category (fiction, nonfiction, short story/essay color can be added), author gender (can use purple w/ another color to denote LGBTQ author, or purple only if the author does not identify w/ male/female binary). Also tracking book #, AOC, if main characters are POC/LGBTQ, intended age group, genre, and star rating. Will track if audiobook too.

Erinsuereads Oh I love the color coding idea! 6y
bookandcat @ErinSueG I can look up individual books easily enough but I want to try a way to get a read on demographics of books I read! Hoping color coding works. I only have 5 mildliners to work with though so my colors have to be limited 😂 6y
Erinsuereads Seems like a great start!!! You will be able to see trends really quickly that way! 6y

bookandcat @ErinSueG if it's anything like last year or any prior year it will be a lot of women authors 😂😂😂 6y
Erinsuereads Not a bad way to go!!! I need to read authors from other countries. I read so many British authors and not much else 6y
bookandcat @ErinSueG oh many I didn't even think about tracking geography or if they're in translation or not eek 6y

New month means a new update on my reading goals. In April I added 12 new categories to my total challenge so I‘m currently at 41 out of 64 books (plus one book that didn‘t fit into a category). Here‘s my annual book tracker.

Saw this on goodreads twitter feed. My kids have followed this and still at different stages. What stage are you at?? I‘m at steps 2,7,8 & 9 all at once!! 💖📚💖

Sace Solidly at 8. 😂 7y
jenniferw88 In between 7 and 8 7y
Pamwurtzler Definitely 8. If you can hoard the ebook! 7y

Pelican71 2, 8, 9. I think it‘s safe to say that we‘ve all fallen in love with books. I can be at stage 4 on any given day. Always at 9, I work with 2nd & 3rd graders in reading intervention ❤️. 7y
tpixie @Pelican71 thanks for helping young readers! Hope they learn phonics/ reading skills before they hit a wall. ( I have 4 dyslexic- grown- children. Wish they would have been diagnosed earlier. They are relearning love reading. And one has gone back to college and is getting straight A‘s. Confidence Building! 💖📚💖 7y
tpixie @Pamwurtzler lol ebooks are where I‘m the biggest hoarder! 7y
CouronneDhiver I‘m definitely on # 7 7y
Pelican71 You hit the nail on the head @tpixie My lesson plans focus on phonics at the beginning of the lesson and reading fluency/comprehension on the back end. I work 1 on 1. I can feel your pride that your kids are loving reading and continuing education. Way to go Mom 😊 7y
Wordsareweapons I‘m definitely on 7 and 8 right now 7y
Meeko93 7 and 8 7y
GlassAsDiamonds 7 and 8 as well 😊😊😊 7y
minkyb All except #6! 7y
tpixie @Pelican71 oh! Perfect! THANK YOU! too bad we don‘t have 44 letters in our alphabet!! 7y
tpixie @minkyb lol. Yes!! 7y
Gissy I'm in stages 2, 3, 4 & 8, but it is a matter of interpretation🤔Interaction with human is limited, just because I have to🤷🏻‍♀️but wait, I interact with characters🙋🏻that counts? My truly love is a book. At least I have a date everyday and I can live the most romantic adventurous experiences. That counts?😍Reading is part of my self!🙌🏼I'm not a book hoarder, I just collect them📚and I don't have enough shelves😌 7y
tpixie @Gissy lol I love your interpretation!! So funny 😆 7y

Does anyone track their reading on a spreadsheet? What information do you log per book to track? This is mine for this year, but I want to expand and track more in 2018. I‘m also trying to figure out a good way to start a yearly comparison, so I guess I‘ll spend some time researching formulas so it‘ll do the work for me. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Also, I love doing the reading prompt challenges, but I‘m clearly not good at staying on track. Maybe next year? 😂

tiarabooks wow this is impressive! do you use excell? 7y
Grrlbrarian Holy buckets. All I use is Goodreads. This is amazing! 7y
erinreads @tiarabooks This is technically in Google Sheets since I have a Mac and don‘t have Excel at home, but it‘s all done with Excel formulas. 7y
See All 17 Comments
Beckys_Books I spend too much time in Excel and on a computer in general at work that this would diminish the pleasure of reading for me. But, I'm super impressed by your commitment! 7y
susanw I do, and my setup looks pretty close to yours! 7y
TheJOMOreader Oh man. Can I straight up steal this to use for myself? My 2018 reading goals have just gotten an upgrade! 7y
Librarybelle I‘d like to do something like that...really cool! 7y
DogEaredBooks @susanw ditto Susan! Mine looks very similar! 7y
JPeterson This is amazing! Well done! 👏 I just track reading in a bullet journal, but I try to include info on any diverse reads, graphic novels, and the star rating I gave them. I‘ve also considered tracking how long per book and page number, but haven‘t gotten that far with it yet. 7y
cariashley Wow that looks great! I use Excel and usually just do quick and dirty pivot tables to see stats. It would be smart to build some charts but like @Beckys_Books I‘m not sure I can stomach it after being in excel all day at work! 7y
tiarabooks @erinreads I see. this is impressive erin! I would love to do something similiar like this. hopefully I can find sometimes to explore 🤞🏻🤞🏻 7y
JamieArc I have several excel sheets I use for tracking reading. On my yearly tracker, I also have whether it was written by an author of color, their nationality, if it meets any of my goals for that year for what I want to read, and if it was recommended to me, by who. 7y
prowlix This year I found this google sheet through YouTube and I love all the nerdy data it has given me https://youtu.be/UCypSgwVSzM ! It has a lot of prebuilt charts and graphs so you just modify the categories and it really simple to use. I know @bookriot has shared something similar in the past too. 7y
NCNY I do a year over year comparison in mine. I'll post a pic of it later today. 7y
Morr_Books Love this! 7y
Kristy_K Wow this is so much more sophisticated than mine. I love it! I basically track the same categories as you. :) 7y
Andrew65 No but given me good ideas. 😊 7y

Reading Tracker installed for #24in48 #readathon @24in48 !

Leniverse Ooh, another app to track my reading! No wait, why do I need this? Do I need this? 😂 7y
jenniferw88 @Leniverse probably not, it's just a basic one so that I can track the time I've spent reading! 7y
Soubhiville I'm going to look at that now, thanks! 7y
