I was just going in to pick up my hold at the library 🙄😬🤷♀️🤪 #libraryhaul
so-soI wanted to like this book more than I did. It‘s about a librarian who gets tired of having to beg for every scrap of money, so she becomes Robin Hood to build her library into the knowledge center she wants it to be. It‘s slow in places. What I really hated though is peripheral— nobody wanted to call the new, improved library a “library,” and they offered services real libraries would not because of liability issues — medical and legal advice.
My book for jury duty today while I wait for something to happen. I hope I don‘t get kept here all day.
