Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick Chef Marcus Samuelsson is Ethiopian-Swedish, so not straight up Ethiopian cooking, but might be worth checking out. Maybe his notoriety will persuade my guy to cook a meal for me.

alisiakae I‘m going to share more about this next month, but one of my former Ethiopian asylum seeker clients went to the Paralympics in 2008. maich @Butterfinger it was release in 2020 and I just found it online. Already download it and will try to read. Still need to post review for Brazil I was so bad with reviews in January. Vietnam book will arrive on Tuesday, I found a collection of their folk fairytales. 4y

A friend wanted to meet up for a (distanced) lunch at an Ethiopian restaurant we both like that has just reopened, and at first I said no, I'm doing a readathon, and then I realized that supporting a Black-owned business > sitting at home and reading, and that I have time for both today.
