Trying to desperately finish my last book for my
yearly goal! Aaaaah! I can do this! Last day of leave, let's focus!
I absolutely loved this conclusion to the Caraval series! It was as beautiful and magical as the first two books and I felt immersed back into the Caraval world. Although the Caraval game was not going on, I honestly didn‘t think it was needed. The story and conclusion were perfect for this trilogy, and it‘s on my top list of series! Most definitely 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

So ready to finish this book!! It‘s the last in the trilogy. #caraval
Waters turned off in my building (again...😒) so off to my friends house to read...or pet the cat, whatever.
“If there had been a clock in the room, it would have stopped. Occasionally, there are minutes that get extra seconds. Moments so precious the universe stretches to make additional room for them, and this was one of them. People don‘t get pauses like these very often. Some people never receive them at all.”
This third and finale book was not as good as the first but still worth the read. We find Tella and Scarlett battling the fates as they try to secure the love of their lives. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excited about this book! But also a bit apprehensive as it is posed to pit a 16 year old in a love triangle/competition with two immortals, one of which is a psycho who kills with a kiss and the other a compulsive liar who could teach Machiavelli a thing or two about manipulation. I sort of hope they go off with eachother and leave her to grow up in peace. (Yeah, I'm not really in the YA target audience 🤣)
Week 4 #BFCR2 check-in: My insane tomato plants, which kept me company reading last night. This week I didn‘t hit my step goal because of the weather (crazy hot today and thunderstorms a few days), but I have done yoga every day, I‘ve finished 3 books, and I‘m on week 2 of the “Naturally Slim” program I signed up for at work. I‘ve also been working on self care and kindness because life can be hard. ♥️ #teamlitnfit #bookfitnesschallenge
Finale was definitely a good ending to the the trilogy, even though I still have questions about certain things (which I won't spoil here). Even though I really would like the answers to these, I definitely could live with the series ending the way it did. I loved it! #bookblogger #bookreviews If you would like to check out my review for this book (and more) check out my blog: https://kattsbookcorner.home.blog/
Thoroughly enjoyed this series. It was a bit predictable in places, but her writing is lovely & very descriptive. And those covers!

I‘m so sad this series is over, but I loved reading Finale. It felt like the correct ending to this tale, with more magic and color even than the first two books in the series. The writing is evocative and dreamy, bringing this fantasy world fully to life. The characters are wonderful, although the Fates could have been a little more fleshed out. I particularly enjoyed Jacks, a true villain that you love anyway. I need a backstory novel on Legend!
I finished this yesterday but wanted to let the story marinate in my brain before doing a review.
This book lacked some of the magic the first two books had and honestly became redundant because the characters kept explaining thang they already did 5 times earlier. Despite that I did enjoy this book and loved being back in the world. And the ending was exactly what I needed for that story.
1. It's a tie between One of Us is Lying and Spinning Silver
2. The Devil Wears Prada - it was so hard to read.
3. Tagged I know it's already out but I'm on the wait list at the library for it.
4. Yes. I'm at 46 of 100 books for 2019. According to Goodreads I'm ahead of schedule.

I may not be going to BEA this week but I will be finishing a series I picked up at BEA 2016 (Also, yes, I panicked and slapped my preorder signature plate on the front endpapers; don‘t judge me)
...or at least a nightmare masquerading as a
But man what an ending! The Map of All, Paloma, the Fallen Star, Priestess Priestess (!!), Jacks (Shame!), Tella, Dante, Scarlett, Julian, secrets, magic, scavenger hunts, the buried treasure of the Deck of Destiny, so stinking good. A once in a lifetime, legendary show I didn‘t want to end!
Went with my husband to Barnes and Noble for some #bookbathing (#tsundokuyoku) and ended up splurging on some books since everything was on mega sale for Memorial Day. Elin Hilderbrand books were 50%+ off! And I finished my collection of the Caravel and Alex and Eliza trilogies which were also on sale. 😁 I may or may not have a serious problem, but I am happy!

Thanks for the tag, @Craftylikefox 😙
1) Having every other weekend off with the new position, so I can have more full-family adventures. Or just hang with LO.
2) Honestly, I'm still pretty excited about Finale. Reread Caraval, and going to hit Legendary before I start it.
3) Fresh fruits and veggies. Plus any ice cold drink 😍
4) 109 back in 1998. I expect it to get close this year. We've been reaching at least 75 by 10 am every day for weeks
