Ah - that's how GNs should be 😊
I've forgotten most of what happened in the previous five books, so having a time-jump and a bit of a reset was good.
I've got Volumes Seven and Eight, so hopefully that'll help me keep the continuity straight!

The series continues strong with great storytelling and compelling characters. There‘s never a dull moment!
“…but anyone who thinks one book has all the answers hasn‘t read enough books.”
📚
Vaughan does a great job raising the stakes higher and higher. Every reunion leads to new separations, every victory to new obstacles. The characters are truly weird in the way that we all are.
Unexpected alliances stand in the way of Marko and Alana, while Hazel gets help from an equally surprising side. How long does the young family have to fight? Meanwhile, an old enemy takes her track again...
This was an exciting volume, incredibly creative and impressively drawn!
Today my SAGA reread brought me back to the Tickle Trunk. Which, I‘ll remind you, I MET ONCE.
Yeah. That‘s right. I stood right in front of the Tickle Trunk. I TOUCHED IT. That HAPPENED.
Everyone who was a small Canadian child in the late 80s/early 90s is all, “OMG!!!”
Everyone else is all, “The hell does that even mean?”
I hope Fiona Staples throws Ananas into the mix someday, too, to round out the Canadian Childhood References.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This story knows how to time jump and keep the same feel and integrity going strong. Not only is the artwork just beautiful, but the multi layered storyline with its deeply felt characters just draws you in and keeps you hungry for more. I loved the happy ending of this volume!
Pretty sure that was the best volume yet, but then I haven't read them all! Certainly a lot warmer, happier, less violent (still a matter of degree) , than the last few. On to seven!
Even though there was a serious time jump between this Vol and the previous I didn‘t feel as if I missed anything. A lot of action between the various storylines! Truly could see this made into a movie or limited episode show.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Watching hazel grow up in this one is so adorable. Volume six has quite a bit more humor in it than the others, at least for me anyway, and really concentrated on family lessons. I can say this one deals with a lot of diversity and topics on how different everyone is which I loved. Also, I want a Ghus is my life, he is so loyal and sees hope in every situation
Ooooo !!!
Yup, these are definitely getting better. The ending plot twist forces me to continue.
I‘m still really enjoying this series. This installment didn‘t pick up with all of the characters, but there were some really great moments.
When you can't sleep....
What can I say that hasn't been said before?!! Awesome, diverse characters who are all brave and strong and don't back down when shit gets scary; fun, twisty storyline that keeps you intrigued; real-feels moments that punch you in your guts; lots of laughs! And, this too @DannyHattan is a whole series I'd save if some crazy person set fire to my library😋🤪😂

Wow!!! Several moments happened in this volume that surprised me!! I must find out what happens!! My dog also photobombed my picture 😂😂
Forever delighted Alana and Marko keep their disguises in the FRICKIN TICKLE TRUNK. I look forward to this panel every time I reread Vol 6.
I got to see (and touch!) the real Tickle Trunk once. It was surprisingly intense. I feel like Hazel would totally get that.
(If you weren't a small Canadian child in the late 80s/early 90s, the Tickle Trunk was a big part of a show called Mr Dress-Up. It featured costumes and puppets and stuff.)
"... anyone who thinks one book has all the answers hasn't read enough books."
“Of the many things my first teacher taught me, that‘s one that stuck.” Chapter 34
Finally a picture where I can include the title!
This was the first of the back issues I've neglected to read. Exciting stuff! Big time jump that I would have liked some more info on but otherwise good.

One of the the most enjoyable parts I am finding about #Saga is how certain parts feel like they are written as a love letter to voracious readers! Little moments like this make me smile.
Loved this volume in the Saga series - especially the ending. That family reunion was beautifully done.
This graphic novels just gets better and better in each Volume I really love the Saga series.

Unfortunately, I couldn‘t start Dewey‘s #readathon until late in the day, but I did manage to get an hour of reading in, as well as an hour of audiobook time.
I finished the 6th book in this incredibly good space-opera series. I so love the gorgeous artwork of Fiona Staples!
I cannot put this series down. I ended up getting the last four after work and I‘m already on volume 6. I read two full volumes today and it was a work day and my sinuses have been killing me. I‘d say I‘m making good work on getting the series read.

Don't you just love when a collection starts out perfectly?! Saga is amazing!!!
Wow this series is amazing. It's so emotional especially this one. I love Marco so much. Definitely not one to read around my girls though 🤣. Just hoping I can get the last two from my library.

Love the storylines in this. So not ready for it to end, but I can‘t stop reading. Holding myself to one volume per day is hard enough. What am I going to do come Sunday?
I found a puppy that looks like Ghus from Saga! I needs him!!!
