Welcome to Litsy!

Clearly this book is my Bailey tribute section of Litsy. For those of you who were around in 2018 when I lost Pilot and adopted this goofiest of girls, I wanted you to know that she crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. I am devastated. Less than seven years was not enough time and I miss her already. 💔

Not exactly book related, but today is Bailey‘s Adoptiversary. Three years ago, I did a thing, and now I have world‘s best reading buddy. Happy Gotcha Day, Bailey Bean.

Thanks for all of the good wishes everyone. Bailey is up and eating on her own today so I‘m cautiously optimistic that we‘re over the worst and whatever the issue is (still undiagnosed) is treatable. 💖 (Image is Bailey eating lunch out of her snuffle mat)

If you could spare a good thought, prayers, or send some just positive energy into the universe for my Bailey, I would be grateful. We aren‘t sure what is wrong, only that something is very, very wrong. Our vet thinks it‘s SARD and we have an ophthalmologist appointment this afternoon, but I think it may be something else, something neurological, because she‘s having trouble eating. 😔

Turns out you can‘t escape your *kids* even in a reading retreat. Apparently Miss #Bailey decided to whine nonstop after I came in here to read, so Mom made her come in with me. I made her grab a blankie, because my girl is never happy without a blankie. 🤣🤣

While I‘m definitely in the “every day is love your pet day”, I also can‘t resist an excuse to post pics of my #Bailey. First, she stole my heart. Then she stole my couch. Now, she‘s stolen my bed. 😂 I love you Bailey Bean.
