I enjoyed the other novel by her that I read so I‘m sure I‘ll enjoy this one. Probably a fast read.

I just couldn't finish this book. I got to chapter 15 then pretty well threw it across the room. The main character who lost her husband just kept whining about the same thing over and over again., like the author couldn't fill in the blanks, or was trying to make it longer.
To be honest I hated it.
I love this book it keeps you guessing till the end
A quiet house when everyone is in bed is the time for reading. I like to sleep but more than that, I like the quiet, and the uninterrupted reading (maybe interrupted by cats but that doesn‘t count). Anyone else like to stay up too late just so they can enjoy the solitude?
I didn't care for it. I wanted to like it, but I don't.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.⭐️
Iris kinda got on my nerves the entire time until the last two minutes. It was an okay read. I loved her family and I really liked Evan.
Very dark and twisty #biggestplottwist #anewchapter @vkois88 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
The book was okay. To be honest throughout most of the first half I was bored. There were a lot of plot twists and for that it kept me going. The characters were well fleshed-out but the story just didn‘t feel original.
Plot driven. The writing is not going to knock your socks off. Was getting a little bored with repetitive descriptions of how Iris was feeling. Story is pretty decent but takes some time to get into the real mystery. Resolved itself nicely and not completely as expected.
#whatshouldireadnext only 713 items on my wish list are available now 😂 #TBR #overdrive
I enjoyed Three Days Missing by @KimberlyBelle so much that I ordered The Marriage Lie. 📚
It arrived today and I can‘t wait to read it!!
Anyone read this one yet?
Iris‘ husband, Will, is on a plane that crashes into a field killing everyone. Will was supposed to be a passenger on a different plane. As Iris tries to absorb the news, she begins investigating Will‘s lies. I really enjoyed how the story weaved through the lies and I waited in suspense for Iris‘ response. The ending was a big shocker for me.
My mom just picked this book up from the library today and I can‘t wait to hear what she thinks!! #thrillerthursday #readingresolutions @Jess7
Such a great book with so many mind-blowing #plotwists ! #readingresolutions @Jess7
What a book!!! Just when you think you have things figured out something happens and you have to start figuring it out all over again.... and that ending... there are no words!!!!!
Went out to eat today and did a little reading... #bookdate #riotgrams
Wow!!
Have you read this book?
I am on Chapter 20 in the audio and loving it.
Great read. Lots of suspense. I couldn‘t put it down. And I really liked the ending.
Taking a break from helping hubby get ready for his trip to NY. I might be a little jealous that he gets to travel while I‘m stuck home with the kids. The teenagers are wearing me out! Books and tea help.
I can‘t wait to read this thriller!!! #suspensfulsunday #readingresolutions @Jess7
Love bookish friends that share a good read when they find one!!! 🤓
This was a thriller and a half. Even if I suspected certain characters, I couldn't narrow down their involvement. There was even an audible gasp made.

Definitely a lot of lying going on in these two!!! 🤥
I felt this book was a little too predictable, I didn't believe the plot coincidences, and the main character lacked the type of depth I was looking for. I like stronger female leads.
I needed a quick easy read while I was traveling. I didn't love it. It could've ended about 3 chapters earlier, I found myself skimming pages just to get done. I'd give it 3 stars...
I️ couldn‘t wait to finish this book because I️ really just didn‘t like it. But the ending did make me tear up a bit, so there‘s that.
Had a bad day? Depressed ? Bored? Sad? Anxious ? Books. they really have saved me .
Remember like 10 minutes ago when I said I wouldn‘t read a thriller other than BOTM until summer 2018. Well, technically, I didn‘t say I wouldn‘t listen to another one....
Now that she‘s past the whining about her husband (ten chapters), I‘m enjoying the mystery.
What an INCREDIBLE BREATH TAKING NOVEL!! I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO READ THIS BOOK THIS IS THE BEST NOVEL YOU WILL EVER HAVE READ THIS YEAR. This novel captures you with emotions of worry, fear and plain EDGE OF YOUR SEAT TERROR… All beginning with a horrible catastrophic plane crash
Because you‘re supposed to be on an all- inclusive baby-making vacation to the Mayan Riviera. Will showed me pictures of the resort and it looks ama— Oh, God. Iris, I must be confused. I‘m sure I got the weeks mixed up.”
Just got this gem from an inter library loan and already HOOOKED ON THIS INCREDIBLE MASTERPIECE! Feel immediate for the couple and love how they say: “ you are my very favorite person on the planet!” to describe their love for each other instead of the standard I Love You
Just finished this while Hubster was driving us to Jacksonville for date night. Looking forward to some comedy ❤️❤️
Back home from working in Florida this weekend and so today is reading and petting day!
Read this in record time. I did not see the ending coming. Not sure how I feel about it. But I loved the book. I couldn't stop reading it.

Loved these too!!! Trying to mix it up a bit!! 📚
This book was outstanding! Edge of your seat suspense that had me gasping all the way to the end. The main character Iris although weak with wanting for her husband to be alive stays strong even when she feels like she is unable to. A true test of love and betrayal. A must read!

I loved The Marriage Lie, but I don't want to give anything away!! I liked Big Little Lies too!
I wish they would put those stickers somewhere else!! I couldn't get it off without tearing the book! 😩
Overall I enjoyed this book, couldn't believe how many lies were involved and how cleverly the information was drip fed throughout. And the finale....Didn't expect that!
Narrator, Johanna Parker, was a distraction. Her voice and the way she pronounced things, specifically the word person and the last name of the main character, got on my nerves. Her accents were inconsistent. The story itself was interesting. That being said, the main character's emotional roller coaster had me rolling my eyes a lot. The ending was very interesting, in a laughable way. This is firmly in the borrow, don't buy category for me.
Predictable yet gripping, thanks to the fast-paced plot. Ending was neither surprising nor disappointing.
Was glad this book was a good break from the ebooks.
We're driving back to Virginia this weekend. I got a few hours of audiobook time in along the way, so I started this one. This is my first Johanna Parker audiobook. I had the sound down low, but I didn't immediately like her. I'm not making any immediate judgements because the situation was not ideal. I am enjoying the story thus far. Hopefully I'll get further on the last leg of our journey today. #cantwaittogethome
