Tera66 I'm ready for Spooky season! Let's go Autumn!🍁🍂🍁 2y
ImperfectCJ I started getting all excited then remembered that I'm teaching three classes this fall, and I'm not sure how much I'll be able to read this spooky season. It's 3 miles to work...maybe I'll walk and use that time for audiobooks 🤔 2y
Blerdgal_Fenix 🖤 my favorite time of year 🖤 2y

Does Autumn bring out the witch in you? I always feel witchier in the fall. 🍁🍂🎃

MoonWitch94 It is the season I feel most alive! But it‘s sadly so short here in NJ. 3y

Our weather is so messed up. I'm in the Northeast US, so we've avoided all the hurricanes, flooding, wildfires, earthquakes, etc (at least so far this year 🤞) so we've been very lucky. But it's late Sept here, the trees know it's fall, they are dropping their leaves, but the temperatures this weekend are in the high 80's (86 to 90).

WhatDeeReads Same here in Chicago. 7y
TheQuietQuill Yes! I live in Pennsylvania and I'm so disappointed with this fall weather right now haha! I love the cooler days and it's almost October and I'm wearing shorts 😫 7y
Tamra Same here in MN, hot & muggy. 😨 7y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa @WhatDeeReads @Tamra So the whole NE @TheQuietQuill I'm in PA too. Yes, it's not near as newsworthy as all the horrible weather stories going on at the moment, but it's really strange weather for this time of year. And yes, I'd normally have my shorts packed away by now and the jeans out and jackets out. @Tamra and yes, very humid here too. 7y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Same here!!! 🔥🔥I'm in Mississippi!! So ready for cooler temperatures!! 7y
JoeStalksBeck Exact same here! 7y
mrozzz Yes it's SO UNCOMFORTABLE but at least no hurricanes 😞 7y

The first day of fall! Time to take stock here:
2 other reading challenges #ReadHarder #Popsugar

These 2 are looking like fails for me, and they usually are.... Oh well, I'll keep recording my reads to see where I end up, but unless I trip over a book set in a hotel or about sports or set 100 miles from my home....I'm not going to go on a scavenger hunt to find them anymore this year, especially when I have so many others I want to read. 🤷‍♀️

TheWordJar If you don't mind thrillers (and this one is gruesome), this book is set in a hotel 7y
Gezemice Death in Venice is set in a hotel, it is short and beautifully written 7y

The first day of fall! Time to take stock here:
2 Goodreads Challenges!

#MountTBR I signed up to climb this lovely mountain of Mt Ararat (48 books that I already owned as of January 1st and wanted to read).
*I've only managed halfway🤦‍♀️ 24 out of 48! (Darn you new releases, Library browsing, Litsy suggestions)

#GoodreadsChallenge I passed my goal for that one already and upped it again! So ☝️finished, and anything else fine.

24 yet to go!

DGRachel I set my Mount TBR goal at 24, thinking that would be easy. I've read over 114 books this year. 16 count towards Mount TBR. 😭😭 I feel your pain. 7y
Alicia Great job!! 7y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @DGRachel Hahaha! We can camp halfway up our mountains together! There's a few months left, so maybe we'll get a bit higher up. Either way, it's one I definitely have to join next year and push through some of this backlog.😱😂 7y

ReadingEnvy Yes but you also read 24 books from your tBR! 7y
LeahBergen I need to get cracking on my #MountTBR challenge, too! 😬 7y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @ReadingEnvy True! Every little bit helps. I'd feel better though if I hadn't picked more than that though at different library sales, kindle sales, etc! 😂 7y

The first day of fall! Time to take stock here:
4 Litsy reading challenges

#192019 35 out of 100, but that one has another year to go yet @Marchpane
#LitsyReadingChallenge 19 out of 25
#Nonfiction2017 8 out of 12 @Booksandcooks
#LitsyAtoZ 18 out of 26 @BookishMarginalia

17 yet to read this year! (Not counting the 192019) looks doable yet to me, and actually less since some will crossover.👍

Megabooks Awesome! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 7y
DrexEdit Great progress! 👏👏👏 I should do this to so I know where I am. I have like 15 more books total to go, but I don't know if I'm close to finishing any one challenge! 7y
