Tackle the TBR 🤓📚 #boleybooks #threejunes #juliaglass #Litsy #bookbeast #readwithme
What are you reading? 😊
This has been on my #TBR forever. And I think it‘s the only book in my house with a #JinTitle !! No J‘s anywhere!

6 books and 1,821 pages. Kind of a meh reading month. There was one I didn‘t like so much and a couple I enjoyed but they‘re not faves.
Here are my June Stats. They do include the 2 Easy readers I am going right home to finish so I complete #BBRC.
And if you notice the totals of additions to my challenges dont match up to how much I read in June, it's because the challenge numbers had not been refreshed since March, since I haven't done a monthly reading report since then.
Not bad for going back to work.
1. Julia Glass, Ian McEwan, Charles Dickens.
2. I just want to hear them talk, and try to connect their speaking and writing sensibilities. Your turn @TheReadingMermaid @TheReadingDiva81 @Lifeisasnap
3. Hundreds. It's embarrassing.

Planning out my birthday month on this 1st of June. Today is a trip to B&N for some graphic novels (suggestions welcome. I‘m sadly caught up on Saga, Ms Marvel and Paper Girls) and a trip to Wahlburgers in Hingham. Not pictured is me trying to plan the best NKOTB playlist for the hour and a half drive.
Hi, my name is Laura Beth and I have never read Three Junes, the NBA winner from 16 years ago. I was probably too busy watching The Anna Nicole show, listening to my brand new iPod (which held like 10 songs) or playing the Sims.
@MicheleinPhilly said she‘d read it with me (even though she‘s already read it but she probably read it during commercial breaks of American Idol bc 2002 was Kelly Clarkson‘s year)...
I still have my iPod from 2002 😂
Thanks to these Instagrammers for this post prompt idea.

My June rap-up: 7 finished (one was only 67 pages so it feels like a cheat, but it's Russian lit so I worked hard for those pages!); 1 DNF, 1925 pages. 440 pages less than May, and it was just hard to read. Frustrating. Maybe July will be better.
My June reading: 16 books
12 Fiction, 4 Nonfiction
12 Female authors, 4 Male authors
Best fiction of the month: Keepers of the House by Shirley Ann Grau (Pulitzer Prize winner)
Best nonfiction of the month: What Happened by Hillary Clinton
Since we are halfway through the year, my mid-year stats are: 94 books read, 54 fiction, 40 nonfiction.
Much better this month helped by 6 novellas which boosted my numbers up. Given me a boost and I‘m on track to finish 2 more straight away in July so it‘s all good 👍
So I have only read a minuscule three books this month! 😩 I swear when it gets cold out again, I will be getting so much reading done!
A book with #clouds on the cover. Anyone read this book or this author? This has been languishing on my shelf for so long.
#hopintospring
The only bookstore near me currently is a Friends of the Library store and that will be closing and moving back to its original library once its renovations are done. So in the near future, downtown Silver Spring won‘t have a single bookstore and it just bums me out. I‘ll especially miss the library store because I got these books today, plus an additional 3 not pictured for my husband, all for under $25. Maybe I should just open my own bookstore?
#novemberbythenumbers I have a feeling things will start being more challenging tomorrow....
Julia Glass describes scenes so vividly that you'll find yourself soaking up the sun of Greece summer days. Besides, she writes such lovable characters that seem full of life. ☀️
In true holiday spirit, Christmas at Harrington's is a perfect winter/holiday read, a story of redemption. 🎄⛄️

#junetunz #mrbluesky lovely cloud covers ! No clouds in my neighborhood today, found Doig at thrift store, signed by author , love when that happens.
Look what I was able to pull out from my shelves...(yes, all unread, please don't judge 😬). More books with numbers in the title.

Margot is helping out with my shelf reorganization. Has anyone read Three Junes? I'm trying to decide if I need to move it up my list. 🤔
